104.It is primarily through formal education that a culture tries to perpetuate the ideas it favors and discredit the ideas it fears.

How it came about that a culture tries to perpetuate the ideas it favors and dis credit the ideas it fears is up in the air .The speaker claim : it is primarily through formal education to achieve this goal .However ,according to logical analyses and daily experience ,I accept it  with a grain of salt .

On the one hand ,the growing of the critical sense and the conception of the world weaken the effect pressed by the formal education .Admittedly ,when a child is sent  into primary school and when  he or she is told to be good student by following the teacher's instruction ,during this period ,the innocent brain is open to be infused ,and this process may benefit to the incline of the idea selected by a certain culture .Whereas ,along with the growing of the child ,when a developed education is brought into play ,the mind is honed and the view is more insightful ,then ,different ideas emerge ,after reforming conceptions ,the suspicion to the formal education is aroused .An indoctrination may form the notions in the forepart ,but in the afternoon ,consciousness wakens ,and the approach  selected by a culture to perpetuate the ideas it favors and discredit the ideas it fears is undermined .

On the other hand , educational distinctness also lead to different results .For instance ,China was governed by emperors for thousands of  years ,and the educational systems was based on the classic theory named Confucianism .This prior culture tended to eliminate disparate theory to chain the thinking of people ,for revolutions always come up with a new conception .On the contrary ,the current educational strategies  breaks this chain ,and encourage  different ideas to cater the need for a information exploring global circumstance .In this case ,the possibility to get rid of the hypnosis of the culture is enhanced .In addition ,the educational distinctness likewise involves different countries in the same time .In this point ,western countries emphasize more in the critical and individual sense than eastern countries .Hence ,the effect caused by culture will remain longer in the western countries .

Moreover ,formal education is not the only mean to sustain a cultural stand point ,meanwhile ,another two roles such as low and media display in this stage .Compared with education ,low is not to tell one what is right and what is wrong but regulate what to do or not to .No choice is provided .This is a forcible approach to maintain the  authority of culture .Another tender and flexible tool is media such as TV ,newspaper ,radio which push the culture conception into the mass ' mind by luring and persuading . Meanwhile, low  and  media are often oriented by the cultural trend in a combinative  way .Low  just like floging with  media the consoling after the floging ,will be much more acceptable by the mass and will receive more effect .

In sum ,the way a certain culture  set its position or attitude  could be rely on the formal education to some extent ,and options are not limited in this sole field ,concerned with the low  and media elements .
