Neighbors are the people who live near us. Some neighbors have so many merits that you will feel lucky to live nearby, while there may be some people who make your life a mess. From my perspective, good neighbors are the people having the qualities mentioned below.

First of all, nobody will refuse a kind-hearted person to be a neighbor. Imagine that, when you have to leave your house fora long time, as your kind neighbor is willing to take water your flowers and grasses, take care your treasure pets and keep an eye on your house, your life wil surely have less trouble and be less tough. Moreover, your kind neighbor may give you a ride when your car is broken and lent you a pair of scissors if you cannot find yours. In a word, kindheartiness is an important quality of a good neighbor.

Another merit of a good neighbor is rule-keeping. As a person who won’t break the regulations, your nice sleep will not be disturbed by the loud music from next door at midnight. Also, you do not have to worry about your garden will be in a mess caused by neighbor’s dog. With a neighbor as rule-keeper, you life will be more quiet and nicer.

Last but not least, your social life will be more wonderful with an active neighbor. Try to draw a picture that, you can receive a big smile when you pass their garden, be invited to their daughter’s birthday party and enjoy a pleased get-together every month. Your active neighbor should bring brightness into your life.

To be so close to us, neighbors will inevitably affect our daily lives, thus are important to us. If we have a kind-hearted, rule-keeping and active neighbor, our lives will be nicer and more comfortable.
