Something is either a gas or liquid or solid right?Well not so fast ionized gas or plasma behave(behaves)differently enough to be thought of a separate form of matter. And someeveryday things can cross the line. Saliva, blood even toothpaste areviscoelastic materials. They can have the viscous behavior of (a) fluid or the elastic behavior of (a) solid, and a simple experiment in the journal (of) Physical Review Letters call(caught)the materials(material’s) split personality. Penn Stateresearchers use the mixture of water, soap and an organic salt to make aviscoelastic material. They then pass the cylinder through the mix, if thecylinder moves slowly, they make its act as(like)a fluid; a little faster though, the (and) cylinderactually cuts the mixture; faster still, and you get an even tearing, cuttingin tearing spontaneously heal, but it is(delete)takes hours. Connecting the sort of state(states)of the materials was(is) the interesting factthat the strength(its strength) when actinglike a solid is basically the same as it's(its) surfacetension when acting as a liquid, that blood is sticker than liquid waters (water is) that(they) say solid conclusion.

Who doesn't like a nice tightly sound(song) duet? Well you might not if you are(were虚拟语气)a bird calling(called) magpie-larks (magpie-lark) from Australian, and you heard a couple of other magpie-larks singing in(应该是a) highly precise duet. That's because well sound duet(song duets) indicate to other species members that the singing dual is working as (a) coordinated team to defend territory. That's according there (to) search(research) publish (published) in the June 5th issue of (the) journal Current Biology. Other animals do similar things. Lines(lions), chimps, wolves, they allwow or howl in choruses deter rivals in their big group. The magpie-larks make their standard(stand) with some complex rhythms. One bird sings the first the two notes and the second bird hear sounding like a bit farther(further) away answers with (a) quick retorted(retort).Weaker teams when you have just heard overlap or leave gaps between notes. The team singing improves the longer they work together and that tune may be a markfor their effectiveness as a team.

在kelediguo基础上的修改

Some bad news and good news were reported in the lastweek from the world of natural products therapeutic. First the bad news, shark cartilage(extract与前面的词连读了) showed no benefits in thestudy with advanced lung cancer patients. Because shark cartilage doesn’t haveblood vessels, some researchers theorized(赞!) that the substance probably contains (a与前面的词连读了) blood vessel growth inhibitor which might help starved tumors with nutrients. But results presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology found (the) shark cartilage to be of no help. Now some better news. Another study reported at the meeting found that Americanginseng helped cancer patients who suffer from (an) extreme fatigue. And the amount of fatigue relief was dose-dependent, a good sign that wasn’t just placebo effect. An upcoming trial will try to establish an exact dosage. Finally an NIH funded study reported at Oncology meeting foundthat dietary flaxseed was effective in stopping the growth of prostate tumors.Flaxseed is rich in omega-3 fatty acids which may affect our cancer cellsattach to other cells. Flaxseed also contains lignin (应该是lignans木酚素) which may interfere with tumor’s blood vessel growth.

kelediguo基础上的修改
Talk about a cold case. Researchers in Italy andSwitzerland (have与后面的词连读了) announcedthat they have determined the cause of death for the iceman. He is(that) incredibly well preserved frozen mummy thatwas sticking out of the glacier in the Alps near the ItalyAustria(Italian - Austrian) border about 10,000 feet up back in 1991.He’s been lying there for about 5,000 years. In 2005 the mummy, sometimesreferred to as Frozen Fritz, was subjected to non-invasive multislice computedtomography often called CT scan. In a paper published this week in the Journalof Archeological Science online the scan found a lesion in the left subclavianartery that’s the big blood vessel underneath the clavicle or collarbone. Thelesion was apparently caused by an arrow hit that’s still large in the iceman’sback. Modern records of such injuries indicate that the iceman survived foronly a short time after suffering this injury. There is no statue of limitationon murder and this killer is still at large. Global warming may get reveal theperpetrator shooter dying. Glacial(should a dying glacier)set them free.
很赞kelediguo啊,听得很不错,呵呵,学习~~
