是说" until W W, ... in poetry; " 这句话的意思和 " but the ... are not different from ... " 的意思是一致的吗？

我当时想的是： but 表转折，前后句子不一样。前边说 there was no __ voice, 后边说 not different from ...         所以我觉得空格处填与different不同的意思。
