10。melancholy是忧郁，bitterness是痛苦，意思不一样的啊。
这题应该是同义类比吧
1。第二个空后面的修饰infinite promise,说明前面那个词是褒义的，而whereas表示转折，说明前后意义相反。

原来discretion是褒义词阿，可是我读的时候觉得是这句话理解为“那个人是个大骗子，所以大家都对他非常小心”的意思也很通啊，而且后面还有bordering on hostility。况且indifference怎么看都是个中性词阿。。。

恩，阅读的两道题理解了。

满足这个不等式的话，那么这个点就在区域内
C(2,-9), -9<2*2,成立，所以在区域内

今天刚做的这套～呵呵，谈谈我的理解吧，25应该就是指加入云之后造成的偏颇，所以推测就是对云的作用理解不同；
26的线索还有全文末句，因为这些差异的阻碍，科学家不能用models预测climate change，也不能怎么怎么，得知models的作用是预测天气。

填空6应该填入贬义色彩的词，而discretion是个大褒义词，排除

25，是不是discrepancies提示的different assumptions？
26，找到最后看见角落里L10有个climate models，其他还有提示么？
