The author's standpoint can divided into two parts (1) How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society; (2)We are aware of how to raise children to become someone who can hely bring about a better society. I concede that the author correctly clarifys the merit of socialization, however, he or she unnecessarily extend the significance of socialization to some height that overwhelm all other element that could influence the destiny of society.

Admittedly, socialization is of great importance and value to human civilization. To socialize a child, is to make them understand and learn to obey the basic rules and displines that most other citizens would follow, is to make children get to know the value and influence of cooperation with each other and learn to be a good teamworker, is to make children be enabled to distinguish right from wrong according to their value systems and the interests of majority of society. A child, for example, should be taught to walk in the right of the road after seeing other residents do the same, should be reminded to share his toy and sweets with peers. By doing this, these children may get uesd to colaborate with friends and colleagues, obey basic rule and laws of a society easily after they grow up, and eventually, contribute to the development of human society.

However, we should never put too much emphasis on children' socilization. Many other facts, besides children's socialization, may determine the destiny of society. The reform of society system, the invention of new electronic appliance and the innovation of modern science and techonology, have greater impact and effect upon society development than children. Actually, the wolrd has become so fast-developed that we human's life can be totally changed only by one or two new inventions or some minority's endeavor of reformance. Children's knowledge and skills, including the concept of socializaion, may have been out of time and less important as it was when they were young, when they step into the society. Considering all these potential facts that could stimulate society civilization, we would not put the responsibility of determining the destiny of society upon children, neither should we rely on children to promote the world.

Besides, it is dubious that whether we have learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better life. Although these do exist some mistakes and disadvantages in current education system that could slow down the process of educating children, such as that we put too much attention on the score and the knowledge that could never be uesd in the whole life, there do involve many successful examples that could shou the good result of educationo. Bill Gates, the administrator of Micro Soft, when is asked what facts he would attribute his success to, says that 'Personally, I would attribute my success and wealth to the eduaction that I had in high school college, although I haven't finish my college. The experience and knowledge gained in college makes me know that to cooperate with others is so important that no one could forget this, and I have obeyed this principle throughout my life.'

In sum, I concede that it would never be wrong and useless to socialize children, give them the concept of cooperating and teemwork, teach them to get used to the society, nevertheless, too much reliance upon children may narrow our wisdom and slow down the process of human civilization.
