I totally agree with the assertion that it is a good investment to spent money on research which the result is always controversial. In addition, people should pay more attention on research.

To begin with, no one can deny that research has played a crucial role in the national development and social progress. Research is the chief means by which we humans attempt to satisfy our insatiable appetite for knowledge, and our craving to understand ourselves and the world around us. Without research, human being will be cumbered in the exploration of the unknown for the answers to our questions, and for lasting solutions to our troublesome problems. It is Watt who make our dreams of flying in the sky come true. It is Edison who invent bulb that bring our brightness. It is Newton who makes us clear about the motion rule. Only under numberless night and day researching work could all of these inventions come out.

Furthermore, the development degree of research is on a large scale determined or limited by the funds besides the researchers' level.  To illustrate this viewpoint, let's compare between different countries in the present world. As to developed countries, the consciousness of investment to research is active and farseeing, and governments will provide the research departments with enough financial and policy support which are attractive to the researchers of not only local countries but other countries. Due to the sufficient finance, it is possible to improve the research instrument and condition. As to developing countries, whose main purpose is to satisfy the civilian with adequant material needs. Naturally, the investment spend on research is so little that their research ability can not catch up to that of developed countries. Fortunately, more and more countries are realizing the importance to research on national development. Take China for example, in order to keep up with the pace of soaring progress world, the government has carry out a series of policies, such as the National Funds for Science and Technology, 863 Project and so forth, which has increased the social status of scientists and stringed up the research passion. Therefore it is necessary to invest enough funds support to the research development.

Admittedly, a lot of people take prejudice on the research results. Owing to the distinguished difference of knowledge between researchers and ordinary people, they can not understand the thought and production of researchers. Take Clone for example, plenty of people and organization considered that the Clone technology may induce world chaos and influence the human natural evolvement processing. On the contrary, Clone has applied on some scientific domains especially iatrology and benefit for entire human beings. It is entirely possible to transfer the clone organs to human bodies to settle some troublesome disease for a long time. Consequently, it should take a long time until ordinary people to appraise the results of research as a right sight.

这个题目，我写着写着就开始想，什么是好的投资，是不是要对投资下点笔墨？既然投资，多少要有点回报来说。不知道是不是想的过多了。
