请问OFFER经费不够，F2能否在美国餐馆打工资助

每礼拜二十小时,一年7500是吧?这一个月600差不多,也就是说一小时差不多付你7块?这是压着最低工资线给的啊.能不能说说这是哪个学校那个老板这么变态?

The Doctoral Research Assistaantship that you have been offered contains stipends for you work (20 hours per week) as a Doctoral Research Assistant for 3 Academic Years and 2 Summers as follows:

1. 2012-2013 (Fall and Spring Semesters) = $6,000.00 ($3,000.00 per semester)
2. 2013 Summer Session = $1,500.00
3. 2013-2014 (Fall and Spring Semesters) = $6,000.00 ($3,000.00 per semester)
4. 2014 Summer Session = $1,500.00
5. 2014-2015 (Fall and Spring Semesters) = $6,000.00 ($3,000.00 per semester)
Total Stipend for Doctoral Assistant Work =$21,000.00

The Assistantship also provides for tuition credit for the 60 graduate credit hours necessary for the Ph.D. The current cost per graduate credit hour is $765.00, subsequently that adds up to be worth $45,900.00 at the current cost.

Therefore, the Assistantship you are offered is worth a total of $66,900.00.

There is no living expenses included in the offer. Lodging, meals, transportation and other incidental expenses are your personal responsibility.

It is not possible for you to provide additional work services for the University as 20 hours per week is the maximum allowable for the Student Visa.

因为年纪大了，又没有考G，没有选择。怕再考重新申折腾不起，想先过去再看看有没有转机。

我的意思是过去以后工资会不会有增加的可能，又或者这20小时的RA会不会执行的时候打折扣，比如只做10小时的事等等。

这个工资水平太低了，通常来讲，RA或者TA一个月工资税前平均下来应该要2000左右。你这个的话，平均下来一个月1000都不到啊。按照每星期20小时工作，一个小时也就是10块钱。非常廉价劳动力。。。
既然是research assistantship,那你就是要给老板干活的啊，怎么可能每个星期只干20小时呢，每天8小时是正常的啊。所以这个工资确实是太少了。养活你和老婆实在是太少了。。。
