渣渣写了45分钟,有些词还要查有道才想起来,拼写很多错误……I只求3分只求3分啊:dizzy:

题目是:
Educational institutions have a responsibility to dissuade students from pursuing fields of study in which they are unlikely to succeed.

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the claim. In developing and supporting your position, be sure to address the most compelling reasons and/or examples that could be used to challenge your position.



正文是:
It's Educational institutions' responsibility to give guide to students in which filed they are more likely to succeed. That's a pity for the students themselves and for the society if talent students spend much time on fields not proper to them. But can we just dissuade them to have a try? Is it their right to choose by themselves? What will that leads to if we truly dissuade them?

First of all, it's hard for educational institutions to judge for every student which field is the best choice for him/her. We can't conclude whether we are can do well in a specific field if we haven't tried or just work on it for just a few years. A talent student can hardly be found by normal ways and it take times--even life time--for a genius to show his brilliance. Many things we accustomed to today were considered impossible yesterday. This statement shows the anxiety among modern people. We are eager to get success quickly and early so just want to do what we definitely can control and can be best. True talent and valuable things have nothing to do with efficiency. What leaves as time goes is what truly matters. Let's give them chance to fail and try.

If we do like what described in statement, it will have great bad influence on our society. We can just do what we can do or what we perhaps are good at. Then some marvellous high-tech products like iPhone and Windows OS, perhaps, will not be invented. We live more convenient life than our ancestors and we get much benefits from our innovation. It will be late for us to condemn the irresponsibility of educational institution in such idea when we realise that we haven't any progress ten or twenty years later while other countries, like Japan, German, have great success in developing their technological and economic strength.

Moreover, the definition for success is hard to give. Getting more money or higher stature? Or have a bad life although invented something popular and useful? Diversity is valuable idea for our modern people. Success can be considered feeling happy to do one thing or having hope in our mind. It can also be regarded as being famous among many people. That's a personalized question.

The task for educational institutions is to guide students, enlighten students and persuade students to try what they haven't imaged. That's how we develop continually. We should give more tolerance to the ones who failed and failed again. Respect for failures can be taught in school. We have dream and we should strive for what we really love to do no matter whether we can get success.
