In the lecture, the professor challenges the criticism of the view that environmental pollution or predators' attacks would cause the population of sea otters decreasing. However, Professor doesn't agree these viewpoints showed in the reading.

First, she talks about the pollution explanation. If the pollution hurts the sea otters, people can find the death of sea otters along the Alaska coast. However, no one find them along the Alaska coast. Therefore, this theory is not correct.

Second, orcas prefer to hunt the whale. However, people prey a lot of the whale. Therefore, orcas need to change their diet including smaller seals, sea lions, and sea otters. Thus, the environmental pollution is not suitable to describe this behavior.

Third, the professor points that the location is primary reason. The location influences the population of sea otters. She says that orcas are large, and they don't access the shallow location. Therefore, the number of sea otters lived in shallow place is stable, but it delays in other area.

In the lecture, the professor challenges the criticism of the view that environmental pollution or predators' attacks(lecture是同意predation theory的！！) would cause the population of sea otters decreasing. However（前后两句没有转折关系，这里用however挺奇怪的，可以换说that is或者in other words）, Professor doesn't agree these viewpoints showed in the reading.

First, she talks about the pollution explanation. If the pollution hurts the sea otters（这种表达不是很通顺，建议换成the decline of sea otters is caused by pollution）, people can find the death of sea otters along the Alaska coast. 好像只讲了lecture如何反驳pollution theory，但是要注意lecture也用这些证据证明了predation theory的正确性哦。

In the lecture, the professor challenges the criticism of the view that reading less literature will cause the terrible influence for the reading public, culture, as well as the future of literature. In addition, she doesn't agree with the viewpoints in the reading.

First, she mentions that reading less literature doesn't lose important benefits from the reading public. People still can read science paper and historical writing. These high quality writings belong the public reading, and also create abundant imagination. Therefore, the professor thinks that people can obtain the benefits from other public reading besides the literature.

Second, the culture is changing. People don't have a lot of time to read the book, and they prefer to turn on the television, watch a music video or a movie. The professor thinks that music and movies also include many different culture' elements. People can spend little time and absorb the culture. Thus, the lecturer refutes the idea in the reading.

Thirdly, the main problem is not about the reader. The professor thinks that today's literature is the same as the old, and the content is hard to understand for reader. Hence, the readers don't like the literature anymore, and the fault is made by the author himself.

同義替換該怎麼去換比較好呢~~可以作說明嗎~~
另外有關movie也是含有很多文化特質~這點我有聽出~
但不知道該怎麼寫比較好~所以我只寫了這樣~~
如果有更好的寫法~可以貼上來嗎~~我需要精進~謝謝~

In the lecture, the professor challenges the criticism of the view that the subject in a professionally full-length painting is Jane Austen. He doesn’t agree this viewpoint in the reading for several reasons.

First of all, the professor discusses about the portrait for the letter of Austen's family. He said that this portrait had created after Jane Austen died for seventeen years. Thus, the portrait in the painting can't prove that the subject is Jane Austen.

Second, Austen Family is very large. Some teenage girls in the family would resample the face of Jane Austen. Mary Austen is Jane Austen's niece, and has the same face as Jane's. Therefore, the subject in this painting may be not Jane Austen.

Third, the back of this canvas in this painting displayed that this canvas had sold by William, an agency of the canvas. In addition, in history, William didn't sell the canvas in London when Jane was during the teenage. From this cue, it can explain that the subject isn't Jane Austen.

He said that this portrait had created after Jane Austen died for seventeen years（这个就算你不确定，也可以推出是seventy而不是seventeen的，因为lecture里说，家族里没有一个个见过jane，说明她至少是在他们出生前就死了。）. Thus, the portrait in the painting can't prove that the subject is Jane Austen.

Therefore, the subject in this painting may be not Jane Austen.
