I prefer 'people are the product of the society'. I don't know exactly why I just fill it right.

the society is the ultimate reason that is responsible for what people actually do
'reason that is responsible for...' I don't think this is a correct expression.
In my opinion, 'the society is the key factor that influences human behavior'

overlooks the middle ground where the climate of the society and the free will of the people interact and fight with each other.
I don't get your point.
'middle ground' should mean ideas that are not extreme, and that people who oppose each other can agree about. What are you trying to say here? Please elaborate

Genearlly I think, if you agree with the topic, you can just start with stating your point. It's unnecessary to bring up a opposite statement first and use 'however' in the first paragraph. If you don't believe so, please argue with me

present situation = status quo

For instance, when the society is at peaceful period, some will be quite satisfied with the present situation, while others feel angry with government corruption which is the by-product of the fast development of economy at this time.
The point is not clearly conveyed and is not strong enough to support your statment.

It may be pointless to say that these two different attitudes towards the society are necessarily determined by the society as a whole. Rather, they come from where people stand and what they see, in other words, from their immediate surroundings.
'pointless to do sth' means worthless or not likely to have any useful result.
Exp, I think it would be pointless to discuss this issue again.

The second point of yours saying the big picture of the society is too vague to affect people's attitudes, in my opinion, is inapproriate. Even though people cannot quite understand the society thoroughly, they are inevitably, subtly and subconciously affected by it. My point of view is, the society acts like a source, it generate ceterain kind of signal to influence people in it. But different people in the society are different recerivers. They tend to receive the signal in different ways. The way that they accept, process, interpret and response to the signal is determined more by their immdediate situation or surroundings.
