Essays
   It was asked often that how important role essays play in university application. So here I give some information on this question.
   Normally, three kinds of factors contribute to university admission, being defined by very important factors, important factors and considered factors. Essays, in general, are listed in the “very important factors”. Why? First, they are significant implements to show your own ideas to some questions. In that way, universities are able to know clearer about you, in case of they know almost nothing about you before receiving your application. Second, essays are always another method to test your writing skills, in that universities only have your TWE or SAT Writing Section scores but never review your articles by themselves. So, good essays are a testimony of sufficient preparation for college academic life.
   Let’s then talk about essays. Sometimes universities require you to write one or more titled essays. In another word, you are required to discuss on some topics that have already been set. On the contrary, in some cases you are free to discuss on any topics as untitled. Remember, at any time should you follow the instructions and detailed requirements to make sure that your creations to be acceptable. It is strongly recommended that you know as much as possible about the university before starting. Respect universities and never make foolish mistakes.
   From above you may have known the basic information of essays. But how to create an excellent passage that moves the university is another problem. Initially, to be exactly sure for universities’ taste. Some universities are dedicated in educating a good many talents while some may fight to train leaders. Part of universities are more likely Graduate research institutions as LACs focus more on undergraduate programs. However, no matter what universities you are applying for, some common aspects are appreciated by all colleges and the whole society. For instance, just like leadership, creativity, cooperative abilities…On the base of meeting their common fonds, you’d better treat every university or college seperately. Moreover, maybe sometimes you are asked that what you can bring to and do for the university community. Answer these questions wholeheartedly in your distinct ways, for universities are delighted to see unique replies. Difference from other candidates’ answers always makes your essays outstanding.
   At the end, I wish all the candidates will make their best and reach their goals.

Tips and suggestions:
   1.The requirements of essays could be viewed on universities’ authority webs. Check every page, especially those in “Admission” links carefully to find what essays you have to write.
   2.Write by yourselves! It is you who apply for admission. It is your own ideas that universities like to evaluate.
   3. You may send your essays either online or by mail.
   4.If you also apply for Scholarships of Financial Aids, you are required to send one or several other articles at most time, but not all the time.
   5.Universities in “Commonapplication” system mostly demand some essay supplements. Pay attention to it.
