我也不知道,不过pillows 和sheet 要带, quilt不大用吧,我想带床毛巾被比较合适。它的网站上肯定有介绍的,去找找看。

1) normally you can't choose, sometimes depends on your luck. By the way, are you coming for your Master or PhD degree? If yes, mostly likely you will be allocated to the new Graduate Student Apartment. But any hostel is OK to live in, generally speaking the environment is clean, good, and tidy.
2) pillow, bed sheets are needed, but pillow is too big to bring, isn't it? I think it's alright to buy arount NTU, won't be very expensive. bedsheet, yes, but I think 2 or 3 will be enough. I guess the bed size should be Single size. Quilt no need, it's hot everyday, blanket is enough.
3) The hostel room sizes differ from hostel to hostel, if I am not wrong, Hall 7 room size is bigger, the new halls (hall 12-15) have smaller room size. I don't have the exact size, but I think it's OK to live in.
4) some of the hostel have individual bathroom and toilet, shared with the neighbour room. Most of the hostel have public bathroom and toilet on every floor.
5) yes, they are scattered around the academic place, depends on your luck and your faculty, you may just need to walk to your lab or it takes more than 15 minutes walk. There are shuttle buses from hostels to schools, so don't worry about it.
In a whole, NTU is a nice place to stay in, the campus is big.

Oh, for bachelor degree, you will be allocated to one of the 15 hostels. There is no air-con in the hostel room, only ceiling fan. But generally speaking, as long as you don't stay on the ground floor, the room should be windy and not hot. Wish you good luck in getting a nearby hostel to your school, Hall 3 & Hall 7 are quite near to EEE school.
By the way, just to add to my last comment, you can also buy bedsheets in Singapore if you are not sure about the size, a set (including bedsheet, pillow case & bloster case) costs normally S$10-S$20 for normal quality. |
