【ISSUE 51】
Education will be truly effectively onlywhen it is specifically to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.

According to the title statement, true education should be designed to meet the demand and interests of each student. I agree insofar as this
statement would serve the useful purpose of education, at the same time, however, I would doubt the statement that it is impossible to satisfy every student for the limited educational resources.
The primary reason why I agree with the statement is that true education amounts to follow yourself interests to learn for individual. As Einstein, a famous physicist, said that "interest is the best teacher". Lacking interest as the path to learn not only wasting the energy and time, but also harming the confidence and will. On the contrary,
, for instance, even in the poverty and hardship, Thomas Edision always strive to invention of his own accord and ultimately create the electric light, which brings about a new technological transform and facilitates our daily life. Then, It is apt to excerpt partly a adage from Thomas Edision "where is a interest, there is a way".
Secondly, unless to dicovery and foster actively the interest of each child by parents, schools, as well as communities, the children might be hiden one's tablents in a napkin, and the society congested with people with the same personality and capacity.For example, the increasingly severe competitions of entrance exam to university compel the students and their parents pay more attention to the score, which is not the only, perhaps even not the necessary, measure to reflect one's ability and knowledge. As a result, the students with gifts of invention, painting, music and so forth, might be neglected, and all the students are moulded in manufactureing-school. Hence, school should take action on the several following respects, such as opening up a variety of elective courses, establishing all sorts of fellowship, encouraging to develop manifold student league, and so on.
However, encouraging to foster student's interest does not amount to satisfying each student according to their interests. It is nor realistic nor necessary to doing so. On the one hand, the quantity of teachers is limited, but the interests of student are various, how can we out of this dilemma? On the other hand, students have not sufficient abilities and experiences to judge what is suitble to them to learn. For example, even if some students do not like math that the most basic subject upon which sciences establish and develop, it is unadvisable and harmful to exclude the math course from subject list. In addition, the favorite subject would change at different stage. Thus, overemphasizing the interests of students might cause the chaos of education.
In the final analysis, when it comes to how to achieve truly effective education, the key deteminant is student's interests, which contribute prominently to overcome physical infirmity, to motivate passion of study, to inspire potential talents, as well as to develop all-around capacity to apply one's knowledge. However, in the pursuit of ture education schools must be careful not to overemphazie the interest, otherwise, the educational system might defeat its own purposes in the long term, due to ignore the necessity of basic knowledge to each student, as well as the disequilibrium between the edudational supply and demand.
