Every time my friends met problems with their studies, I offered my own help instead of led them to someone professional although I were not so familiar with it. That is to say, I would rather enjoy the happiness as well as the hardness on the progress of finding out the way to success along with peers inexperienced than simply get an answer by asking for someone with authority.
Knowledge got by discussing warmly with your classmates ought to be better understood and kept a deeper impression in mind for you two. For instance, once when I was in a hard time helping my friend with a physics problem; she suggested checking what we had done to got it through. By reviewing it time and time again, she suddenly found out that we had missed an important condition in the principle we used. It was obvious that only by cooperating with somebody like me who owned no more experience than her could her made it out all by her own while the tutor would quickly pointed the question out, leaving no space for us to ‘explore’. In this way, we will never forget the logic in the principle.
Further, cooperation with the inexperienced enabled the spark in innovation. In most cases, the solutions the professors may reply to you in a little rigid way, resulting in a widely adopted ideology. In other words, turning to the experienced could lead to the discouragement of creativity. Contrary to which, offering a naïve, even stupid, puzzle to your friend will arouse his interest in dealing with it in your own ways, probably new ways since neither of you is tied to the regulations. In this sense, original method is developed through discussion with friend rather than tutor.
Meanwhile, I admit that we have to turn to the professor after days of vain discussion or due to the objective reasons such as the time limit. Nonetheless, whether the knowledge got in this way is assimilated by heart is doubted in most cases.
For those reasons, we can safely conclude that friends are too important a factor to ignore and they have more important influence than professional tutors on students’ success at studies.

The reading passage focuses on the topic of why the fuel-cell engines will soon replace the internal-combustion engines. The professor's lecture deals with the same issue. Even so, she argues that hydrogen-based fuel-cell engines are not the solution to the problems made by the internal-combustion engines, which conflicts with what the reading believes. And in the lecture, she reveals three pieces of evidence to confirm her view.
First, although the reading passage suggests that hydrogen-based fuel-cell engines make use of resources that are easily available, such as natural gas and water, the professor claims in the lecture that the resources of the hydrogen-based fuel-cell engines are not easily available. This is because the resources are not directly usable, which means the production of hydrogen is quite artificial. This point is best illustrated with the example of the obtainment of the hydrogen, it must be obtained in a pure liquid state and at the minus 253 centigrade. Obviously, the professor's argument disproves its counterpart in the reading.
Moreover, in sharp contrast to the statement in the reading that hydrogen-based fuel-cell engines will relieve the world's pollution problem, the professor contends that the use of fuel-cell engines cannot solve the heavy pollution caused by petroleum burning. Then she supports this point with the fact that the generation of hydrogen also relies on the burning of coal or oil. In other words, hydrogen-based fuel-cell engines make certain amount of pollution as well.
Finally, the professor asserts that whereas the author of the reading claims that fuel-cell engines are able to save money as they are comparatively twice as efficient as internal-combustion engines. The professor proves that this claim is indefensible by pointing out that the platinum used to generate the hydrogen is quite expensive - i.e., the manufacture of hydrogen-based fuel-cell engines costs considerable amount of money.
In conclusion, the professor clearly identifies the weaknesses in the reading passage and convincingly shows that the central argument in the reading, - that is, the prediction that the fuel-cell engines will take the place of the internal-combustion engines is incorrect.

(重复了喵?). This is because the resources are not directly usable, which means the production of hydrogen is quite artificialinconvenient如何?). This point is best illustrated with the example of the obtainment of the hydrogen; it must be obtained in a pure liquid state and at the minus 253 centigrade(这牛逼的细节!). Obviously, the professor's argument disproves its counterpart in the reading.

Moreover,
in sharp contrast to
(好用法!)the statement in the reading that hydrogen-based fuel-cell engines will relieve the world's(总觉用global更顺眼一点?)
pollution problem, the professor contends that the use of fuel-cell engines cannot solve the heavy pollution caused by petroleum burning. Then she supports this point with the fact that the generation
production? of hydrogen also relies on the burning of coal or oil. In other words (表达跟先前相反的说法?), hydrogen-based fuel-cell engines make certain amount of pollution as well.

Finally, the professor
asserts
(汗,声称用在这里有点怪,argue怎样?) that whereas the author of the reading claims that fuel-cell engines are able to save money as they are comparatively twice as efficient as internal-combustion engines. The reading passage explores the issue of selling fossils to private collectors. The professor's lecture deals with the same issue. However, she thinks that the benefit of the fossil sales outweigh its disadvantage, which contradicts what the reading states. And in the lecture, she uses three specific points to support her idea.
First, even though the reading passage suggests that the fossils' sold to private collectors will lead to less exposure of them to the public, as a result of the collectors' unwilling to share their own collections with the ordinary. The professor argues in the lecture that the commercial fossil hunting contributes to greater exposure of fossils than before. This is because some small organizations such as schools and little museums are able to routinely buy the fossils, which means more and more people can see the fossils and develop interest in them. Obviously, the professor's argument disproves its counterpart in the reading.
Moreover, contrary to the statement in the reading that scientists' discovery possibilities have been reduced by the purchases, the professor contends that scientists will never miss out any research opportunity in this case. Then she strengthens this point with the fact that before every selling and buying of the fossil, the value of it must be evaluated by a scientist. In other words, the scientific experts are able to check on all the fossils in trade.
Finally, the professor asserts that even some damage commercial fossil hunters do, it is worth for the unearth of the fossils whereas the author of the reading claims that the hunters are likely to neglect some potential discovery clues. She proves that this claim is indefensible by pointing out that that it is better to lose some data or evidence than leave some important fossils undiscovered.
In conclusion, the professor clearly identifies the weaknesses in the reading passage and convincingly shows that the central argument in the reading, - that is, fossil trade is a terrible development for the society is incorrect.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Two people can become good friends even if one of them has more money than the other.

Will rich guys make friends with the poor? Or can we have buddies who are wealthier or in higher need of money than us? As for me, the answers are undoubtedly positive. By that I mean, the development of a friendship has nothing to do with money in their pockets.
In the first place, friendship relies on the similarity of two people, which fails to be measured by money. To be clear, it is the identical background or interest between the two, instead of the equal amount of money they own, that contribute to their friendship’s being built. This point can be best illustrated with the example of the friendship between French socialists Friedrich Engels and Carl Max: The common faith in the socialism led them to be close friends for years, during which time, Engels had being supporting Max for Max was down and out.
Furthermore, only in such a challenge like the wealth gap can a close relationship be tested whether sincere or not. If two poor men are good friends, what maintains the relationship must be the attraction in psychological dimension, whereas a poor man is always tempted by the interest he could obtain from his rich friend. Given that human tend to collapse at the first blow of profit, the friendship remained is quite noble. Take me for example: I had had two buddies when I was in primary school, one got much more pocket money than me, whilst the other occupied far less than me. To be honest, I made friends with the former one as to get snakes from her. In contrast, the second friendship was based on our identify with each other. In a word, such a situation is not something impossible, rather, it’s too precious to happen.
Overall, I admit that there are keen-edged contradictions between the poor and the wealthy, which may stand on the road of their friendship, such as the diversity in the consumption concept. Possibly, the handling of such dissimilarities may lead to a more comprehensive company.
For those reasons, we can easily conclude that people are able to make friends with anyone attracts you, regardless of the money dimension.

The reading passage deals with the issue of salvage logging. The professor’s lecture deals with the same issue. However, she thinks that salvage logging results in serious, longer term environmental problems and its economical benefit is still questionable, which contradicts what the reading states. And in the lecture, she uses three specific points to support her idea.
First, even though the reading passage suggests that salvage logging cleans up the damaged forest, the professor argues in the lecture that such clean-up cannot use right decomposition for tree growth. This is because the decay contributes to enrich the soil suitable for fresh growth, which means salvage logging results in the lack of necessary nutrient in soil. Obviously, the professor's argument disproves its counterpart in the reading.
Moreover, contrary to the statement in the reading that rotten trees will lead to insect infestation at higher chance, the professor contends that dead wood help to keep the forest healthy. Then she supports this point with the fact that decaying trees are also good habitats for birds and other animals instead of only insects. In other words, it provides shelters for all the lives in forest.
Finally, the professor asserts that salvage logging contributes to the economic developments whereas the author of the reading claims that so-called benefits are small and not in long term. The professor proves that this claim is indefensible by pointing out that the need of a helicopter is always necessary for removing damaged trees and additional positions are for those outsiders with experience as well as training other than the local residents- i.e., despite the costs, whether salvage logging benefits the economy is doubted.
In conclusion, the professor clearly identifies the weaknesses in the reading passage and convincingly shows that the central argument in the reading, - that is, salvage logging does good to damaged forest as well as the economy.
