101022NA Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The advice from our grandparents has no use for their grandchildren because the world changed a lot during the past 50 years.

As a teenager who started to find out self-worth seven or eight years ago, I used to neglect all the suggestions from my grandparents, believing that their thoughts were too conservative, fossilized and antiquated. However, when I look back on such a conceit time at the age of twenty, I am convinced of the wisdom deposited by years in the seniority.
Granted, elderly people are detached far behind the rapid evolving society in some respects. In other words, the development of some areas is at a face that is too high for them to run after. As a result of which, the seniors tend to have extra worries for what we seem as usual practices. Take my grandfather for example, every time I was planning for a plane tour, he would persuade me of replacing the transportation. He holds that only the vehicles on land can be relied on even though I have showed the scientific data to him explaining the safest one is plane. In such cases, we may reconsider our grandparents’ advice in view of the reality.
Aside from conditions above, our grandparents do own much more experience than us which are able to lead us through some perplexed dilemma. The principle in their words must have been verified once and once again through their lifetime, hence it ought to be valued and thought highly of. This point can be best illustrated with the example of an advice my grandmother once gave me. When I was too young to see the darkness in reality, my grandmother had already kept one sense in my mind: Always hold mercy in your heart and you will benefit from it lifelong. As time passing by, every time I felt pain from betray or cheat, my grandma’s word crossed my mind. It worked like a relief as persuading me of some reasons behind the hurt, leaving me believing in a beautiful world. By that I mean, a lot of truth in life will keep invariable no matter how the material world has changed.
The usefulness of the suggestions from the elderly people depends on what condition they are applied to. The directions about life as well as humanness need to be paid closely attention to. On the other hand, the advices detached from the highly developed society can be taken as too much worries.

我非常敬佩的从头至尾看完了，我觉得楼主的高水平让我无处可改啊！！

只有一处我不是很理解的，就是你的结尾那段。

Inconclusion, the professor clearly identifies the weaknesses in the readingpassage and
convincinglyshows that the central argument in the reading, - that is, salvage logging doesgood to damaged forest as well as the economy.(只是我觉得最后一句的意思好像不太对劲，show是证明的意思，对吧？怎么是professor证明阅读中的中心论点呢？难道show有反驳的意思？)
