Do you agree with the viewpoint that people are now easier to become educated than in the past?
The twentieth and twenty-first centuries have seen the development and advancement of many fields and areas of society. Education is an area that has developed tremendously in the past hundred years. The variety of ways for studying, the support government (This could mean 'the supporting government', or 'the support of/from the government', or 'the government that supports/is on an supporting role', or 'the government/management of support, presumably support for education' – I can't really tell from the rest of the paragraph, though I would probably guess something like 'the support of/from the government'..), and the pressure of competition which become a motivation of learning has made it possible for more people now than in the past to get an education.
During the past days, a school is the only place for people to get an education. (This actually depends on what kind of 'education' you might talk about. In the past most of education in terms of literacy is done in churches or religious institutions. If you consider technical expertise or mastery of a trade an 'education' then apprenticeship was more like the common form of 'school'. But well, that's just a digression..) But in today’s modern society, variety of ways of studying ways can be chosen such as using a mobile phone for reading in a subway or listening to English news in your mp3 on your way home. (I don't see how these are necessarily different channels from 'schools'. Reading on your mobile phone or listening to mp3 are just physical means of getting to educational materials. It has nothing to do with whether the materials or the actual education comes from a school or not – you could read your teacher's emails on your mobile phone, or listen to mp3 as instructed by a school teacher as a way to enhance your listening skills – what makes you think that these modern accesses must not be related to 'schools'? Unless, of course, by 'school' you actually meant something like a physical 'classroom'..) Another access to get educated is online learning which is enjoying an increasingly high popularity among people. Take myself as an example: I really benefit a lot from the shared online educational classes that are offered in Harvard University, Yale University and other well-known universities all over the world (Universities offer classes, not the other way round.). Not only do I gain knowledge from it, but also I practiced my English listening skills.
Another reason should be related to the support of the government. The educational level of a country is considered as a vital factor to a country’s international competitiveness, so more and more countries give (I'd suggest 'place' instead of 'give'. If you want to use 'give', it would probably be 'give..to'.) a high value on education. On one hand, the government in my country gives more money to educational institutions such as universities or colleges to make sure that every student is able to afford the tuition to get education. My friend Nancy comes from a poor family; her parents cannot afford for her tuition so her university offers her the school endowment and she said that she cannot get education in university without the government’s support. On the other hand, the government also equips universityies or colleges with high quality facilities to encourage teachers and students to get involved in all kinds of researches. Like the language lab in my school, we students can do more listening and speaking exercises there. ('Exercises' doesn't sound really like 'researches' but I won't grudge about it..)
Last but not least, the pressure of competition becomes a motivation for people to get educated. We are now living in an age when everything must be competed for before we get it. Kids compete for good grades; adults compete for jobs. And one way to improve one’s competitiveness is a strong educational background. For example, a person with master's degree may possess more opportunity to get an ideal job and may be paid for a higher salary. In a word, the pressure of living in the modern society also severe (I think you meant 'serve'. 'severe' is an entirely different word..) as an important motivation that stimulates people to become educated.(Indeed, but this has nothing to do whether it is easier for people to get educated nowadays. It's like, people getting more motivated to earn a lot of money doesn't necessarily mean the task of earning a lot of money itself has become easier, or harder than before..)
Without a doubt, due to the above mentioned reasons, I believe that being educated becomes an easier thing for people nowadays.
总结:
请注意冠词和拼字。。另外就是第三个论点完全和论题那个容易与否,完全米有关系,嘛。。
