因为7.20 要考了这是机经作文，所以拜托各位啦！
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The environmental issue is too complex to be handled by the individual.
Recent years have witnessed a remarkable change in the field of the environment. With the development of technology, various factories are built up in the city. Which do harm to our living circumstance greatly. As a result, the issue of whether it is complicated to handled the environment problem by the individual has triggered a heated discussion. As for me,I totally agree with the opinion that environmental issue is too sophisticated to be managed by one person. Here are the reasons to support my answer.
This is mainly due to the reason that there are a lot of factories that prevent individual from coping with the environmental issue successfully. According to a recent coverage in China Daily, the number of people who are not aware of the importance of environmental protection is in a high rate. Due to the education people received different, it is not easy for everyone to show his responsibility to protect the environment.In addition, people’s action are guided by the motivation.Laking in motivation, one person may be not willing to protect the environment if he knows that no one around him are going to protect the environment. Hence, it is salient that it is not realistic to expect individuals to handle the environmental issue.
Furthermore, the environmental itself has the ability to recover with its recover system. As a matter of fact, the circumstance where we lived was comfortable long time ago. The main reason that was detrimental to the environment is agriculture. For example,People might cut a number of forests. However, the environment could still recover in a few years. As time went by, more and more factories were built. Which leaded to the consequence that it is beyond the environment’s control. Overwhelmed with the power of nature, individuals are too small to change the environment to be better.
Taking all the reasons into consideration, an conclusion may be drawn that individuals can hardly have the power to handle the environmental issue. From my own perspective, a single country or a global organization is conducive to the environmental issue. For a country, it has enough fund to support the work of environmental protection. What is more, policies can be made to ask its citizens to protect the environment. Compared to a single county, a global organization may be more efficient. A organization often set up by person from a variety of countries. That is means, experience and resources from various countries can be shared. Which is beneficial to handle the environmental issue well.Therefore, the environmental issue is too complex to be handled by individuals. Only when all countries cooperate to solve the problem, it can be handled successfully.

Do you agree or disagree that the environmental issue is too complex to be handled by the individual?

On the contemporary society, environmental issues have become the most sensitive topic undergoing fiercely debated. You can just shake a leg on numerous issues on a newspaper, but the environmental issues are the primary focus among the mass. A fair proportion of people claim that the individual is far less power to make a contribution on the environment, but others believe that good environment depends on the productive approaches of the individual. From my perspective, I cling to an unshakeable belief that the individual efforts on environment can lead to a promising success of our society. Of the countless factors that might strengthen my position, I will unfold several conspicuous ones.

The main propensity of my stance relies on a self-explanatory reason that every individual is the rational human being in the society. The efforts to protect the environment are actually for our own good to achieve a better living condition for the individual. Like, if the government is planning to build a nuclear power plant near your community, you may oppose this project for the potential radiation exposure and poisonous waste water it produced to their community. You might make an announcement or protest parade about this proposal not only for your community, but also for themselves. By the efforts make by individuals, they might earn their opportunity to negotiate and make the government to concede or compromise for the sake of the residents.

Meanwhile, environmental issue is usually a headache of the government, who would be reluctant to sacrifice the development of economy and technology. But sometimes, the novel idea through the brainstorming of the individuals might be a possible approach. Jackie Wang, a teacher with a master degree in a renowned academy in America, sprang up a brilliant idea to collect the washing water in our bathroom to the washing machine, which can reduce the excessive use of sulphurous detergent. This excellent approach is soon be adopted by their local government and Ms Wang was honored for her contribution to the environment.

Admittedly, environment issues or measures carry out by the government are sometimes elusive and unreasonable for the individual, whereas these issues can get better propaganda and promotion. However, these merits are numbered and don’t have a leg to stand on. When it comes to the nature instinct of the individuals to protect their own house or community, when it comes to the productive and creative measures that can suitable to solve their urgent environmental problems, when it comes to the conflict between the communities and government about the location of nuclear power plant, the individual should be given enough credits on the environmental issues.
