Since the existence of mankind society, people have begun to improve every aepect of their circumstance in order to elevate the living standard of the members of the world. However, there always happens that the extant finacial and practical ability of mankind appears to be deficient to meet all the need of the population in the same time, thus, decision has to be reached to arrange the priorities of the accomplishment of the research in certain field. Although the assertion seems to be reasonable at first glance, it ignored some of the most factors in the development of the society. Therefore, I can only partly agree with it.

To begin with, the original purpose of the exploration in every field of inquiry is to improve prople's life. For example, the technology development which has changed the formation of people's daily life so dramatically. As is widely accepted, every merchandise in the market is aimed at the provision of conveniece or confidence of every people in order to attract them into the purchasing of the items, which not only makes a fortune of the business owners, but also realizaed the application of the techniques in production to the progress of the standard of everyone's life. Thus, the factor of the benefit of a specific research has to be accounted previously in prevention of the destruction of the peace and stability of the society. Take the ban on clone technology in the United States. Since the duplication of mankind might cause a lot of probelms in the society, including ethics, security, humanity and so on, which would all be dangerously harmful for the society, it has to be inhibited and delayed in research in for the future of the entir species.

Turning next to the other perspectives of the consideration of the priorities of all kinds of researches. For the capacity of the recognization of the development differs from person to person, some of the wiser ones might be able to predict the crises to our species in the coming years which has to be avoided in advance. The depletion of fossil fuel is just of this kind. Decades ago, when enterprenuers are desperately exploiting petroleum and coal from underground, they would never forsee the serious consequnce of their behavior which polluted the environment and what's more important, is draining the enery on the earth depending on which human is living. gradually, governments have realized the severity of the matter and begun to finance the development on new and clean enery for the society. Although such invention appears to be naive at present and provided no substantial interest to the daily life of the population, they might finally struggle through the technical problems in the research and be in time to replace the traditional enery rescouces.

Last but not the least, with the explanation of the aspects of the issue, people should be aware of the relationship between the immediate improvement and the ones in the long run for the mankind society. On the one hand, government should be informed enough to guide the direction of the exploration of every field by offering advice and sponsoring on the necessary aspects with their limited efforts. On the other, citizens in the world should also show adequate respect for the poineers in the area that may not contribute directly to the progress in their lives and support them volutarily for a better survival of their offsprings. In this way, the continuous requesting of the professionals in their subjects might be paid with propellation on diffenerce levels, leading to the balance of the development of the civilization.

In summary, the crux of the discussion of the issue is the short and long term benefits to the race of mankind. Although there exist huge amount of problems in the reality, people could not hastily resolve them disregarding the future of their society, but to widen their minds for a high level of interest for the entire world. And only with such greatness can the socety be ensured with stability and prosper forever.
