Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Advertisements waste money and time of companies because consumers know what they want to buy. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Currently, advertisements have become parts of our daily lives. Especially with the development of public media, the industry of advertisement is booming greatly. So it is normal that some people dislike advertisements, considering they know what they need without them. Also, some other people regard advertisements as something of great use. In my opinion, advertisements not only help companies to propagate their products, but also give much suggestion to consumers.

First, there is no company can sell their products without the former propagation. Every time a new product will be output into the market, the producer will exert great efforts to make it as well-known as possible. By TV, Internet, or other media, companies will spend great amount of money to advertisements. The result is a fierce war of advertisements between different companies and the winner can win the welcome of consumers and may make the most profits.

Second, actually consumers usually know what they need, but hardly know which to buy. Since nowadays there are some many different kinds of goods in the market, people always can not figure out which is the best. What they most need is something providing evidence for them to judge before decide to buy. Then, advertisements cater their needs perfectly. In advertisement, they can receive overall information of certain kinds of products, and compare among a group of similar goods. Advertisements can avoid people from shopping blindly.

Third, the long-time effect of advertisement may be more important for companies. An efficient advertisement should serve two functions at the same time. Besides propagating certain product, it should also build the image of the company in the hearts of consumers. For example, we can find out precise information from different advertisements of Nokia, which is the company's famous idea "Science connecting people".

All in all, an advertisement not only is an indispensable strategy of companies for propagation, but also helps consumers greatly.

首先楼主的文章条理相当清楚,错误也很少。。(偶很努力的找了。。不过的确比较难。。。)我第一遍看下来的时候几乎没挑着错。。。

每一个论点都很清晰,不过最后一点显得稍微薄弱一点,开头结尾的总结也很有效。

总之, 偶觉得很不错啦,偶还学习了一些用法哩~~o(∩_∩)o...呵呵,如果长度再加长一点应该更好~~
水平有限,多多指正哦~~~~
