第一次写issue,做起来果真比想象中难得多。尤其是举例引证部分，才发现自己知识面多么匮乏，无从下手，简直想不到任何例子,
能想到的例子大多也是中国自己的，世界上的大事和名人事件几乎不知道。怎么快速补充例证的知识量？不然写起来真得寸步难行..

In any realm of life—whether academic, social, business, or political—the only way to succeed is to take a practical, rather than an idealistic, point of view. Pragmatic behavior guarantees survival, whereas idealistic tend to be superseded by simpler, more immediate options.

The speaker asserts that taking a pragmatic point of view in real life is crucial for people to reach their goal; however, as the speaker implies, the idealistic haven’t taken an effective role in people’s approach of pursuing success. I tend to disagree. Although practical behaviors immediately affect the result of people’s operation, ultimately the driving forces behind the approach of making progress is the idealistic theory.

I admit that the pragmatic action contributes a lot to the short-term goal. Take the world-shaking financial crisis as an example, Bankers and Lenders started making money by giving out mortgages to people. Although Lenders got money firstly through out the pragmatic way---lending money, with out an idealistic design and regulation from the whole scale, it can’t get along well with the market lastingly.

The late 1990s the Republican Congress did away with a lot of regulations in the financial industry that had been put in place in the 1930s during the Great Depression. Without the idealistic guide---regulations, it became easier for a lot of questionable banking and lending practices to take place. Lenders immoderately give out mortgages to people who actually can’t afford the houses they were buying, and these mortgages were being bundled into investment opportunities that companies like Lehman Brothers and other companies then sold shares in to investors. All these people are now also loosing their money and a chain reaction occurred as we suffering now. The greedy desire for short-term reward finally makes such a huge global disaster. Thus we can see without an idealistic point of view to regulate and consummate the practice, an immediate receive doesn’t mean the real approach of success.

If we say the practice is the river, the idealistic point of view is the iceberg which guarantees the resource of the river, correctness of practice, which shouldn’t be replaced by a direct way. Maoist revisions of the inherited body of Marxist-Leninist theory, which were celebrated as the "Signification of Marxism," were ideological preconditions for the peasant-based revolution that brought the Communists to power in 1949. On the contrary, at the period of Chinese Great Leap Forward which is seriously lack of the basic consideration of objective reality, practices were quickly spread through people and crowds. Leaders were too eager to get a huge development in industry; families offered all of their ferric objects even iron pans to government, with full enthusiasm to see the harvest of industry. However, the practices without a conscious and substantial idealistic guide interrupt the pace of Chinese economy, wasted huge of human and material resources and loose the balance of industry and agriculture.

Idealistic point of view and practices supplement each other in reality. It’s crucial to take a balanced attitude. Students of any education section, especially arts, mostly can not produce worthy work without a period of patient study of idealistic ideas. If all of them focus on making money with the immature understanding of art and creation, we should expect less and less worthy work in the world. In reverse, ones who are full of theory and long-term designation of his own art style without pragmatic action may not have the endurable confidence to accomplish his final goal.

In sum, idealistic point of view provides practices a space for consummating itself. Although pragmatic way gives people an immediate satisfaction, maintain an idealistic way can ultimately lead practices to a correct and healthy direction and thus brings a better result in the approach of succeed.
