Young people leave school with negative attitude toward learning.
Why and how to encourage positive attitude?

It is a universal social phenomenon that the youngsters today are confronted with the passive attitude towards learning after leaving school. For the sake to diminish this unfavorable situation, exploring its hidden contributors and thus resolving it effectively are becoming the most imperative duties to the society as whole.

No doubt, there are several factors leading to this unwillingness towards studying outside school. Above all, without any proper guidance, young people hold the idea that school is the simple site to acquire knowledge and reading a textbook or sitting in the classroom is the unique mean to learn knowledge. So, it is, from their perspectives, actually of little necessity to study out of school. Moreover, teachers and parents should also be responsible for this negative attitude to some extend. It is their excessive concern and undue supervision that make the youths fail to develop independently and positively learning behavior. In addition, we can not neglect the impact of competitive society. The youngsters are unable to read a book or attend a apart-time class in an active manner after finishing a disturbing task at work with full of energy.

Therefore, it is high time recommended some effective and efficient methods to reverse such appetite for learning. To begin with, more inspiring speeches should be frequently organized by companies or governments concerned to stimulate teenagers to learn in their work positions. Besides, young people need to take advantage of any opportunity to communicate with those successful and knowledgeable colleagues or other older generations whose rich experience is more useful and practical than any textbooks.

In conclusion, learning, in fact, happens everywhere in our lives, and it is not the end to be a student after leaving school, but a new beginning for further study. Thus, young people should always hold an optimistic attitude towards learning, even if they are not at school anymore.
