Predoctoral Positions

Predoctoral research associate positions are available in Dr. Jun Xia's Lab in the Department of Biomedical Engeering at the University at Buffalo (http://engineering.buffalo.edu/b ... arch-spotlight.html). The main focus of Dr. Xia's research is to develop novel optical and ultrasonic imaging techniques to meet needs in cancer and neurological research. In Dr. Xia's lab, students will have the opportunities to be trained in optical and ultrasonic engineering, be involved with preclinical and clinical imaging studies, and to collaborate with chemists, physicians and neurologists in Western New York and Ontario Canada.

Applicants who majored in Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics, Optics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field are encouraged apply. Preferences will be given to candidates with background in optics, ultrasonics or imaging. Interested students can email the curriculum vitae to Dr. Xia at junxia@buffalo.edu.
