If you want weekend, in busy months, you might need to make appointment three months prior to your test date.

Go to www.gre.org and register for a test. Just get yourself familiar with the registration process. The selection of date is before filling in test taker's personal information. So don't be afraid that you will get yourself accidentally registered. You won't!
