晚上6点发了一封邮件问教授明年招不招人，教授过了1个小时给了回复：

Thank you for your inquiry. My group always looks for good students, but much depends on available funding at the time the applications are considered. This is not possible to predict ahead of time, but I recommend that you apply. The admission decision is the result of a combination of student’s qualification and available funding.
