Human improve their level of technology to increase the work efficiency and enhance the quality of life as well as solve social problems they face. As these goals come true, we can not deny the fact that with technology's rapid advancement many problems are created as well. But in my opinion, this does not mean the accomplishment made by technology is relegated to the place that it is less that the number of new brought problems.  

With the advancement of technology, many social problems once puzzled human have been solved to a large extend though not forever. These problems include the economical problems, hunger and fatal disease. Take hunger in China for example, foodstuff was once lacked of to the extent that thousands of people were hungered to death. After the advancement of technology especially the area of agriculture, this fatal problem is solved forever. With people's food need satiated, a man named Yuan Longping becomes famous because he is the father of cross-fertilized paddy. Also in the field of medics, with the improvement of technology, many diseases' prescription turn available. Facing these problems being solved, one can not deny the gregarious achievement brought by technology.

What's more, technology's advancement makes the public's life more comfortable and easier than any periods in history. Automobiles, personal computers, cell phone, etc, all these new products is resulted from the improvement in technique. Another example that aptly illustrates this is solar energy converting machine. With the technique's advancement in this field, the converting cost from solar energy to electrical reduces from $500 per watt to $4. And scientists are struggling to decrease this number to $2. This advancement not only solves the crisis of lacking of energy and in turns the environmental problem but also reduces sound volume produced by automobiles making a comfortable and quiet living place for human.

However, there do exist many problems brought by the advancement and the harms of some of them have immerged recently. Take the creatures living in Wisconsin Lake for example. The winter fish kills there is surprisingly recent years. The reason behind this is the wide spread use of snowmobiles on the Lake in winter. The large number of heavy vehicles compacts the snow on the surface of the lake leading to decreasing light into the lake. With the reduced plants of the lake, fish were killed by asphyxiation. Still exists other technique bringing problems such as the ethical issue raised by cloning human, biological changes due to the builds of dam and ever-present danger of nuclear holocaust. All of these issues are fatal to the survival of human society. If we could not solve them completely, the result is out of our imagination.

To sum up, many problems such as hunger and poverty human faced once were solved with the rapid advancement of technology and due to the improvement our life becomes more comfortable and convenient than ever. But still it brings many problems to be solved. Procedures for anticipating and preventing these negative consequences should be made forehead.
