In present world, a lot of persistent social problems exist in many nations have plentiful common points and their own characters. That makes a global university, which could be built to deal with the problems and research the differences and similarities of the problems, available. Meanwhile, the global university also needs the support from all nations, including the money and other materials.

First of all, there are many common points among the social problems in different nations, and the research of these nations' solutions to these problems would help to settle all the similar ones. Take terrorism for example. After the '9.11' event, U.S.A increased its alarm and act a series of more serious censorships for the security of the whole country, and take more actions to avoid new attacks. These movements need all the countries, which would have the possibility to be attacked, to study. If taking similar actions, the sorrowful damage of London Bombing would be less. However, a global university could study the essential factors beneath the terrible affairs and offer valuable suggestion to the nations to avoid the similar tragedies.

Of course, the different countries have their own characters in the persistent social problems, and these are also some contents which come into the study of the global university. Each country has its own characters in custom, culture, religion, and belief etc. The global university should carefully research the difference among different countries, based on the similar problems. For example, the treatments about the drag abuse in Asian countries and the European countries are different because of the distinguished cultures, the aim to restrain and ban drag abuse is similar. Thus, the university should carefully study the different situations in each area, and give proper advices to each country.

Finally, the global university needs the support of all nations. First, a university like mentioned above requires a lot of fund to gain the resources such as professions, teaching materials, research instruments, and so on. Without these resources, the study may hardly make any progress in the problems. Secondly, the university, most importantly, need all the nations offer the documents of persistent social problems for study. Without these materials, the professions would not know the similarities and differences in some problems among different cultures, customs, religions, and believes. And the work would likely fall into deadlock.

To conclude, the global university is required to study the most persistent social problems in all nations to research the differences and similarities of them and offer suitable solutions. Meanwhile, the supports from all nations are also need, including the funds and documents for better study of these problems.

我觉得题目的重点是是否应该建设一个global university，强调这些问题非要由这样得大学来解决? 但是第二段好像有点偏，似乎再说大学的职能？这个题目我也觉得难写，而且似乎没有很好的例子或者idioms?
