关于GRE写作中难词使用的问题

这个是因为看了4。25一日评写出来的一些文字。大家就凑合看看吧。

我个人觉得这个不能作为一个判断的标准。难词与否。
重要的是你对语言的掌握。如果对英语运用自如的话非常简单的词也可以用出文采来。
我喜欢RUSSLE就是这个原因。你看他的文章非常的棒（这个是废话简直他可是诺贝尔文学奖得主），但是他的文章用词却非常的简单。
多使用难词，这个是一个用词写文的误区我觉得。对语言的掌握不代表你非得用什么什么词，但是确实是一个指标，否则GRE干吗考词汇？
还记得GRE里面有一个题目就是大概含义是是一些人让科学变得无法理解的而并不是科学本身是无法理解的。
好的作者的任务不是让他/她的文章变得晦涩难解而是简单易懂。关键是看你可以不可以把你的观点非常简洁清晰有力度的表达出来你的对文章题目的深刻理解，对题目的全面剖析。这个才是重点。

关于SMS说的那个关于GRE WRITING的高分作文用词分析，个人认为这个是属于充分不必要条件。不可以反推。

个人关于这个问题专门询问了在美国的朋友和一些外教，回答是一样的，用词并不是至关重要的关键是句式的运用，思想的深度，剖析的深刻与否。

还有一个例证可以证明就是：INTERPRETATION OF DREAMS
有没有人看过？他书里面的内容没有一个说浅显的吧。。但是那里面的语言却很简单易懂。

所以词汇和思想不一定成正比的在文章中。

Good articles are not necessarily composed mostly of " difficult" words . When we read Reader's Digest, we will find most words used are easy to understand. But their skills in using such "easy" words efficiently are also very important.

We may have three approaches:
1. Use powerful easy words efficiently
2. Use big, difficult words occasionally.
3. Combine 1 and 2

I'm wondering if ETS aslo use such standards to judge the levels of our text essays. As we know, this can be conducted easily using computer software.

well, SMS, :p , to be very honest, i think u r right. we should occasionally use some big words  which we can grab their meanings quite well ,since next time we will be tested by computer. and they do use this kinda way to judge if u writing skill is quite good.

Actually, I strongly suggest that we should not ignore the effect of complicated words, why? Though we must remember that easy words play an important and essential role in an essay, too simple image that would have impressed ETS like TOEFL AWA, which we probably should avoid. Using difficult words like ingrediants sometimes do create some miracles----a decent academic essay.

You would have the same feeling after reviewing those model examples.

不是特别的重要不能说不重要是不是？

我想任何准备GRE GENERAL的人都不可能总是用简单词汇的吧？
而且作文当中的同义词的使用即避免同样的词出现2次以上肯定要求你掌握一定的难词。
但是不是说是必要的，一定要用难词。如果你无法掌握难词使用的CONTEXT我宁愿建议你不要用。
体现你的语言掌握能力，句式是很大的部分，而且GRE WRITING更要求你有思想。
