大家给点意见吧，我水平比较糟糕的说 最后一段不知怎么写好 感觉和第一段太像了。。。。

TOPIC: ISSUE130 - "How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."
提纲：

对于当今世界，孩子的社会化程度的确影响了将来社会的命运。现在的孩子很多都没有兄弟姐妹，科技的进步也使得很多事可以自己做完，相比过去的人，现代人缺少团队合作能力、交流能力等等，也容易导致心理问题

教育孩子方面我们较之过去有了很大的进步,并且有了先进的手段，现代教育避免了种族歧视，倡导了平等自由，但是却仍存在问题,并且有些方面不如过去，父母太忙很少顾及儿童

I agree with the assertion that how children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Nevertheless, the destiny of society also is decided by many other factors. Since our education system have trained huge amount of capable people, it is entirely appropriate to consider that we already have appropriate ways to raise children though there may be some problems.

From a practical point of view, in the modern world, how children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Many children have no brothers or sisters, and they can solve problems alone take the advantage of technology. Compare to the past, today's children lack of the skill of communication and team spirit. Even worse, a high proportion of adolescents have psychological diseases. To show this point clearly, here's an instance. The Virginia Tech massacre was a school shooting consisting of two separate attacks about two hours apart on April 16, 2007. That took place on the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States. The perpetrator Seung-Hui Cho, killed 32 persons and wounded many others. The massacre is the deadliest peacetime shooting event by a single gunman in American history.

However, there are many other factors to determine the destiny of society besides how children are socialized, such as the level of technology and science, the energy problems and population problem and so on. There is no family planning like China in India, as a result, India will become the world's most populous nation in 2030. By then, India has to face masses of social and economic problems, which will significantly influence the destiny of Indian society.

When it comes to education, there's been a great improvement than in the past. We have advanced measures and ideas to raise children. We can use internet for Distance Education, searching information, and communicating with each other conveniently. We also have experts who study and improve the education. The world is more equal and freer. In the early 19th century, a father would teach his children how to order his slave. But now, there is no slave and every child is taught that everybody is equal no matter what his race is. In 1954，the Supreme Court decided that the whole system of separate education in the South was denying the constitutional right of equal treatment to the Negroes. It ordered that the southern educational authorities should integrate their schools for the white with the schools for the black. In 1964 President Johnson approved the Civil Rights Acts，banning discrimination in public place based upon race or color. Yet, education system is still results-oriented, and we emphasize too much on scores. Compare with the past, parents have less time to concern for their children because of the busy lifestyles, which we can regard as a kind of going backward.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely come to the conclusion that how children are socialized today and other important factors determine the destiny of society together. Fortunately, we have advanced ways to raise children who can help bring about a better society, though the education still not perfect.
