"Humanity has made little real progress over the past century or so. Technological innovations have taken place, but the overall condition of humanity is no better. War, violence, and poverty are still with us. Technology cannot change the condition of humanity."


The civilization of humanity has been changed impressively by the modern technology, living status is no longer that harsh and dangerous to keep one survive, all due to the greatness of technology. Although violence like war is still haunting this planet, the situation has been moderated and will be eventually neutralized by the advancing steps of technology.

Living a happy and melodic life but forgetting the past is guilty. The conception of high-technology may be a bit abstract for people to appreciate. But it is the undeniably basic element of our society, too common and cheap to get so become ignored by most people. No need to think hard, just shut down the water, gas and electricity supply to the house for one day and nobody will deny how metropolitan technologies including the premises distribution system and architecture affected our life and did real progress to the condition of humanity. Indeed, these familiar and simple-to-use house apparatuses have been improved by the technology for all these ages. Take another instance, the mobile phone is a small thing for everyday life now, but during the earthquake in China last year, people in the disaster area can not use the cell phone because the access points for mobile system are damaged, communication suddenly set back to the Paleolithic ages. If this ever happened in daily life, it would be extremely hard for two people to maintain contact and communicate at anytime they want, and naturally, people lived in the ancient times all acquiesce the fact that there were many last meets in their life because there was no way to keep in touch with distant friends. These samples have exhibited the importance of modern technologies. It even feels pain to take a glance of the life in the past.

Technologies have solved many social issues such as hunger, poverty, violence and even the war, and will continue on its way to ameliorate the situation. If it is not the productivity brought by technology, how could those who lost their jobs and those who are unable to attend a work benefit from the rich welfare? Never found such stories in the Dark Ages, where people had to work all their lives to earn a living while the starvation was still highly possible! On the other hand, for many countries currently, it is rare to hear someone suffers from starving, because the technology has guaranteed times of the food demands for the whole nation. Besides, there won't be that many wars if the technology has solved the eternal themes of energy and space for the growing population. To conclude, most wars were fighting for resources and conquering new lands. For example, if humans could live on other planets at acceptable costs, there was no need for Japan to launch the invasion toward China (Unless they are mentally retarded). As for the last theme, violence, psychology technologies and new education perspectives have found partly its reason and the way to appease violent people, making their personalities better.

Finally, in some ideal aspects, technologies in the future could dramatically change the humanity, or even, evolve the form of our existence. Silicon technologies, quantum mechanics and discoveries about how brain functions are on their march, creating the wildest dream that one day, humans may live in other forms of life being, maybe the electronic form. Minds can be transferred and activated in the virtual worlds, where people no longer endure any limitations from the carbon-based physical body.

In sum, it is the technology which changed our living status, making it increasingly wonderful for people to live on this planet. Although war, violence and poverty still linger, the technology will find way to eliminate them and bring us a bright and harmony future.

依然是技术类. 之前写了太多政治，艺术，却发现技术不会写了.. 考试前找找感觉。


提纲：
1、驳论。技术不仅改变了人类的状况，更对提到的战争等方面起了至关重要的改善作用。
2、现代生活由于技术而变得美好的方方面面（明明可以举对人类整体更好的提升，比如全球市场，跨国企业等等，但是写这篇文章时完全没有状态，为了不卡住，都是生活的。）。
3、技术对于提到的人类顽症（这个词忘记在文中用了！）已经起到的作用，以及以后会起到的作用。
4、对将来技术和人类生存状态的展望
5、总结，技术确确实实提高了人类的生存状态，并且极大遏制了贫穷，暴力，战争等。

其实,更多的是希望大家做一些评价, 是好是坏, 心里有个底. 考试的时候也就不至于那么激动.

回读了下， 这篇写的真差劲.  但是，这样的话  考试的时候最坏应该也就如此了吧

并不是对修改的同学不负责任哦， 这种文章才能反应很多问题吧。 坏处得到改善最好不过了~~

关于有说法说写人性的.  也不难说明. 只不过就成正面支持观点了.(比较好写)

首先说明战争,暴力等等的根源, 以及技术能发展出为了生存而自私的人性也无法挑剔的富裕社会, 从而满足人类无止境的贪婪,
虽然人类表面不那么争执了, 可实际上一旦面临险境,  仍然会有自私体现出来. 人类的本性并没有被改变.
不过, 技术减少战争,暴力事件发生可能性这一事实是确定的, 它改善了整个世界的条件.

然后, 主要是因为题干中, 贫穷,以及condition这两个词, 让我决定写主题为: "人类的状况" . 毕竟, 贫穷和人性的关系就太抽象了. 能够证明, 贫穷就是由不公的人性造成的？还是懒惰的人性造成的？　似乎太牵强了．

而反过来，war, violence都属于人类生存条件的不利面．而且是典型的顽症．　技术到至今，也没能解决这些问题来改善人类生存的世界．　　似乎可以这么说．

如果有官方例文就好了，　毕竟冒险是赌博
