第二个理由没听懂,自己瞎编的...
狠拍,辛苦各位啦

The passage demonstrates that thetransition from the cottage production to a factory-based industry is caused bythree factors, while the lecture refutes all the reasons in the reading asfollowing.

Firstly, the author says that the advancein technology drives the cotton production out of home. On the contrary, theprofessor disagrees with it by saying that the technology is not the majorcause. In the early stage, the owners of factories wanted to hire more workersto help them make more profits. But the new technologies were not actuallyused. So the development of technology is not the cause of the transition.

Secondly, the listening material departsfrom the viewpoint in the reading material that the privacy protection causedthe change. The talk points out that the government set up legal laws about theprotection of privacy earlier. And the new laws at that time were not relatedto the protection of privacy. Therefore, the legal protection for privateproperty is not one factor of the change.

Thirdly, in regards of the cost, the writerthinks the factory production would reduce the cost. However, the lecturerholds an opposite belief. He explains that even though the change save cost oftransportation, it led to extra cost on other things, such as purchasingmachines, lands and so on. So in fact, the cost of factory production is higherthan that of cottage production.

To sum up, the talk contradicts theargument in the reading that the transition of production style is caused bythe three reasons mentioned above.

Firstly, the author says that the advance in technology drives the cotton production out of home. On the contrary, the professor disagrees with it by saying that the technology is not the major cause. In the early stage, the owners of factories wanted to hire more workers to help them make more profits.(说了一半,rather than……后面也说说吧) But the new technologies were not actually used.(不知道我说得对不对,你写的有点绝对化,那时不是一点点机器都不用的,只是不那么广泛而已) So the development of technology is not the cause of the transition

估计你是没跟上段子,蒸汽机的例子没写出来,比较可惜

Secondly, the listening material departs from the viewpoint in the reading material that the privacy protection caused the change. The talk points out that the government set up legal laws about the protection of privacy earlier. And the new laws at that time were not related to the protection of privacy. Therefore, the legal protection for private property is not one factor of the change.

Secondly, the listening material departs from the viewpoint in the reading material that the privacy protection caused the change. The talk points out that the government set up legal laws about the protection of privacy earlier(好像没说). And the new laws at that time were not related to the protection of privacy(是这些对production等等没直接作用). Therefore, the legal protection for private property is not one factor of the change.0 E" ^8 G: o  d6 h, B- M* [8 P
