positions available in my group, but you would need to obtain a scholarship

具体情况是这样的，我们学校和这个学校有协议，可以每年选派一定数量的学生去攻读PH.D，要自己和该学校的老师联系，然后确定课题和老师，那个学校在年末会来我们学校面试学生，面试合格了，当场发录取意向书，申请资料齐全寄过去，会收到正式的录取通知书


请求各位高人指点。。。不胜感激。。。

i think you should let the professor know that how your school works.  I dont think the professor going to give your any money for your program, that why he wants you to get the money from other place. from what I understant is : if you are phd student, you get money from the professor not from school. So when you mentioned abt 全奖. Im quite confused.
