10.12 do you agree or disagree getting university education is the most
important factor for success.
Every high school student in China should have worked hard aiming to enter the university. Undoubtly university is a good place for adolescents to form their characters and traits, but it is still a controversy that having universityeducation is a necessity of success.Some people hold the perspective that going to university to have further education means getting nearer to success, and it is an achievement of life so that we should do all our effort to pass the entrance exam of college and go on advanced education. while others that include me hold an opposite view. I admit that getting university education can lead us to be successful, but it is not the most crucial factor for success. We can be successful by other methods and my reasons for that are as following.

The primary reason for my opinion is that the university teaches us more knowledge of science and thchnology while it does not teach us how to live in the society as a successful man. We can read news in tne newspaper that there is a genius who entrance university in his 10s but he cannot deal with the daily problems such as washing clothes, cooking for himself and what's worse, sometimes he does not know which cloth to put on today. No one can deny that the genius can get a high mark in the exam and he can win the scholarship but does anyone can be sure he is successful or will be successful? Obviously entering the university is not the noly standard of success.

It consititute another reason for my opinion of view is that some people is good at just one subject and his mark is not enough for him to get to the university but he can be successful in his field. Bill Gates is the best example of it .He quited his study when he was a sophomore, and he addicted himself into computer. He succeed! Almost the operating system we use on computer made by Microsoft-the company Bill holds. And Bill became the richest man in the world rapidly.He is succeeful even though he didn't get the bacholar.Another good example to illustrate my view is  of Edison. When Edison was young, his teacher  thought he was an idiot and of course he couldn't continue his study,let alone getting into the university. He design over 1000 inventions include one of the most valuable inventions -light.Undoubtly ,he is also successful.


Adding even more credibility to my opinion is that for some reasons not everyone is accessible to the university but every person gets the right to be succeeded. My physical has no chance to access to the university and by his hard working, he becomes a teacher who has thousands of students to get into the university. He is successful and  it proves that it is not the most important factor for a man to get into university to be successful.

To conclude, a man can be successful for many reasons and the entrance
to university is just a method to get success.

10.13 The parents do not understand their children as well today as parents understood their children 50 years ago

There is a gap between two generations,and when we are in our tenth we alwayscomplain about our parents for  bugging us. The parents also complain about our caprise in return. At that time we will tell the parents that they  know little  about us . Some people may hold the idea that parents have the right to educate the children as they bring us up and we can not disobay them. While others may have the point of view that we have the right to decide our own future and we can live the life we want as we don't need to follow all the parents' advises for the reason that they don't know us at all. I clined on the latter perspctive for the reasons as follow.

The primary reason for my opinion is that parents always tell us to make the dream which they didn't realize come true. And they ignore whether we'd like to or not. For instance, a father who didn't have the chance to go to university and his life goal is  to raise a child who is a graduate from one of the top universities in the nation. Perhaps the child's goal is to become a carpenter and he dose not need to go tothe university. While the father will think that going to theuniversity is the only way to be successful. Parents don't know what we want but teach us what they think is right.

Parents of us are almost on their 40th and for them it is not as  quickly to accept a new thing as us. Sometimes they even don't unstand why we are at the computer for such a long time. They hear news from the broadcast that a boy died for playing computer games 48hours without break.Then parents forbid me playing computer as they think computer is not useful at all. While for us ,computer is a necessary tool and we study with it ,work with it. The computer is not only a help but also an entertainment. Parents always judge things as what they think .

To further clarify this ,we could add that parents also hold the rules old enough to educate us. And this phoenomenon is not unusualespecially in the country. A friend of mine is asked to come back after graduation to inherit the land. My friend's dream is finding a job in a metropolis. While his parents think itis wise for him to come back home otherwise the land will be others. And 50 years ago have a  land to inherit is a glory.

To conclusion ,parents cannot understand us well for their thinking
cannot catch up with us and they want us to do what they think is right
no matter whether it is do right for us.
