Do you agree with that parents are the best teachers? This is an interesting topic because different people hold different opinion due to their distinct experience and background. In my point of view, I think that parents are not definitely the best teachers, now I will present some important and persuasive views to support my statement.

First of all, one reason can be developed to support my view is that parents always love children very much even their shortcomings, so they can not directly discover children’s bad behavior and guide for them. For example, most of parents give all of things children want even if they have no enough money to purchase that. Children do not cherish what they own because they think it is what they should have, thus they will form a bad habit. Sometimes when they do not have their best thing, they could shout and scold to their parents, it’s horrible. Therefore, parents are not suitable to be a good teacher for children because they are often partial for their shortcomings.

Furthermore, another reason to support my view is that most of time children stay in school, so parents know about their children a little than teachers. Children accept education in school and they may change everyday in sprit and physical body. Teacher is the person they communicate everyday, so teacher may know what they think and what their problems are. Parents are responsible for children’s rest and diet, and they have a few time to communicate with them, so they could not be mentioned as a good teacher.

Finally, parents do not learn education or psychology, so they do not know how to teach children very well. Even though they know their children’s character deeply, they have no correct methods to teach them, they could not the best teacher. For instance, they want to children learn history, themselves even do not know exact time of the event or what the important meaning of the event, how can they teach the children very well?
So we can see that parents do not have the quality what a best teacher should have.

To sum up, taking into account these factors discussed above, parents are the close people with children, but they could not be best teacher for them.

For example, most of parents give all of things children want even if they have no enough money to purchase that. Children do not cherish what they own(have) because they think it is what they should have(gain/take), thus they will form a bad habit. Sometimes when they do not have their best thing(改成achieve their dreams? Or get their favorite gifts), they could shout and scold to their parents, it’s horrible.
