题目：ISSUE46 - "While some leaderships in government, sports, industry, and other areas attribute their success to a well-developed sense of competition, a society can better prepare its young people for leadership by instilling in them a sense of cooperation."


Competition appears almost everywhere at the modern times and benefits both individual and society. Through the method of competition ,it can provide people whoever equip with profound thoughts more opportunities to exhibit their exceptional capacity.Moreover,competition is a phenomena of society fairness as well.

People will apt to find that ,by competing,companies and individual would have more chances to choice, in which will able to propel the society be more effective.Result in competition is a way to propel society development to progress and help people competence to promote,it also should be an essential equipment for a leadership .For this reason, fostering students a sense of competition is a fundamental task of society .During the period,they would grasp more useful knowledge and skills by competing with others.As some of them,who will become the leaderships in future,they must compete with other candidates.Only do they grasp the point of  competition,would they know how to display their advantages and being as an excellent leadership.

Nevertheless,one does not have to go very far to see that with the rapidly developing,the society becomes more and more complicated.Therefore,merely competition is not enough,if overlook cooperation,then the society would supplant with each other and which lead to work in low efficiency or even fail ultimately.Thereby,more and more society problems should be solved by cooperation rather than competition.In addition,cooperation is primary spirit for the coming leadership.Because they might face pressing societal problems that can not simply be solved apart from cooperative international efforts.Something serves as a typical example, nowadays economics would not develop effective and maximize if just one country work on it,regardless how mighty this country is.Only when many contries work on it ,which calls economics global then it can develop rapidly and overall.This simple case illustrated is for demonstrating an effective leadership could not accomplish a goal without cooperation.

The leadership will play a key role when he grasp how to contrive and direct.Learning the point of competition is basic for a leadership,however,the awareness of cooperation as important as the former.For a leadership,it is important to cooperate with others such as teamwork which may help both the leadership and team members to get competence progression and achieve double-win.

To sum up, taking into account all the dimensions of the issue discussed above,then we can conclude that competition and cooperation are not contradictory.The society should instill both sense of competion and cooperation to the young people who will become leaderships. On the one hand,competion will raise the individual capacity;on the other hand,cooperation will promote the integral level and competence.
