Governments should focus more on natural environment problems and less on economic developments.
During recent years, more and more attention are paid to the environmental problem which have already influence certain people’ life severely, such as water pollution, air pollution, desertification, global warming and so on. Thus, I totally believe that as the policy maker, our government should focus more on natural environment problems and less on economics developments for two reasons.

First and foremost, our environment forms the basic conditions which decide our healthy rather than the money. There are strange phenomenon in many developed countries that when their GDP was in low level, they spent more money in economic development, but after they stepped in a relatively high quality life, the government invested more money in environmental improvement.
In fact, it is because the government realized the importance of the environment for their countries, of course, the public also desired the healthy surroundings.


Secondly, focusing more on natural environment is much fairer for the public because only little numbers of people can benefit from the economics developments while most of the public suffer the polluted environment. According the research from the State Statistical Bureau, 20 percent people in China take charge of the 80 percent fortune of the whole country. If most money is used to invest in certain industry, to pay for the debts of companies or to be loaned to these corporations, the general public especially the people in countryside can’t profit from the investment. What’s worse, the environment which belongs to all the people have to bear the worse quality of water and air even get ill because of the bad living conditions. In contrast, these wealthy people can always avoid getting hurt by environmental problem by choosing a place which is less polluted and buy more healthy but costly food.

In a word, paying more for natural environment contributes to build a better living conditions and much fairer for all the people. After analyzing the above two reasons, I deeply confirm that government should pay more in environment protection is a more reasonable idea.
