Dr. Junwen Wang’s lab at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Hong Kong has openings for PhD studentship/Research Assistantship in fall, 2010. Our lab focuses on following areas:
1.  Transcription factor binding sites and ChIP-Seq
2.  Motif finding and human promoter evolution/prediction
3.  Algorithm development for genome wide association studies.
The candidates should either have strong programming skills (c/c++ or java) with some knowledge in genomics/biology, or have strong background biological sciences (molecular biology or molecular evolution) with some programming skills (perl or java). Candidates with MS degree are preferred. If selected, a stipend of minimum $13,100/month will be provided. Please send your CV to Dr. Wang at junwen @hku.hk if interested.
