12.2 It is more fun to see a movie in the cinema with other people than see a movie at home.

Major part of profit of the movie industry comes from films being shown at the cinema. Some people are will to pay for the tickets, while others prefer to stay home and rent a vedio. Which of these two ways is more fun？ this is really a personal proneness question, and my answer is to go to the cinema and enjoy a movie with other people.

Movie is the kind of art that allows us to enjoy it both visually and acoustically. Obviously, at home there is no way I can ever set up as big a screens as that in cinema, or appreciate such great stereo audio as they have there. Cinema is basically the place that I can achieve enjoy the most beauty of a movie, which is what this art is about. Although it's true that going to the cinema costs more, we are paying that money for a reason. I once go to the I-MAX cinema to see THE DARK KNIGHT, when the batman suddenly dive from the top of a building, all of us in the cinema goes "WOW!!", we could imagine the danger, just as if we were there in the scene. That is definitely some fantastic experience you can only have in the cinema.

Further more, when I sit in the cinema with other people watching a movie, it is an interesting interaction that we have. People with different backgrounds sit in dark together, maybe with popcorn and coke, which have become a sort of tradition of the cinemas, they all laugh at a comedy, show sympathy for the charactors, and feel the tense as the story goes on. The feeling can be doubled, even multied when it's shared. I guess this is the reason why I always remember a movie more if I had seen it in the cinema. Deeper impression, that is what you get when you watch a movie in a cinema, so it is another reason why I make my choice there.

With all the fun I mentioned above, sensory stimulation and shareness, I always go to the cinema to watch a movie, rather than stay home starring at the TV.
