Of course, I have to admit that the information listed on the books may be more professional and systematic. 这句后面再加上一句说明尽管如此，电视还是影响最大的。要不然显得没说完，老美会觉得不知道你到底想说明哪个好。
至于结尾，我也做得不太好。总有虎头蛇尾的感觉。有人建议把分论点在结尾简要重申一下。这也不失为一个好方法。

12.        孩子应该是玩和学习还是做家务household chores？
Today children seem to have a wide variety of choices to spend their leisure time. Some people argue that it is better for them to do household chores than spending time playing and studying. It may make sense. However, I stand on a conflicting angle that children will benefit more from playing and learning. Here are my reasons.

First of all, it is essential for children to enjoy their childhood. For the majority of people, childhood is the best period of time in their entire life. Spending time playing games with friends or brothers and sisters will make beautiful memories. They will become the most important treasures and last forever. I can still remember the time I played hide and seek with my little friends. Although the game seemed simple and even boring, it really brought me a great fun. As long as I take a look back to those old days, I will admire then because there were full of joy and no worries to bother. If those memories are substituted by household chores, I believe they will be no longer colorful and impossible for us to memorize.

Conversely, if children choose to help with household at home other than playing, it is more likely dull and negative. Playing allows them to communicate and make new friends. This ability is important for their growth. Besides, they can learn those which they can never learn at home. For example, playing chess teaches them how to find solutions to solve different problems. Playing ball games make them understand how to obey rules and how to do a team work. So if the choice goes to the housework, an opportunity of learning those significant things will be gone.

In addition, childhood may be the best time to study knowledge and gain awareness of value and belief. It seems profound but easy to understand. Researchers have proved that children can learn a foreign language better than those ten years older. Not only this, they may learn faster in other subjects, such as math and physics. My 12-year-old brother could remember almost all the information after he read his history book. However, I could hardly remember half of it. Certainly, I admit that the interest may influence the efficiency of learning. But we cannot deny that in most circumstances, the young can do a greater job in learning.

Although doing household chores owns its merits, compared to those of playing and learning, it seems to be insignificant. So, I believe that children should play and study in their childhood.
