1现在的面临的问题要比过去更困难复杂。
2不同人处理问题能力不同。随着经验和知识增长人们处理问题问题能力提高。
3科学技术的提高使人们面临更复杂的问题也提供了更好的解决问题的办法。
Through human history, people of different ages face different kinds of difficulty, which seems like difficult to overcome. Some people have the opinion that with the increased knowledge and experience people will notice that the problems they confront now are no more complex and challenging than what their predecessors faced that time. In my point of view, this theory is not comprehensive enough. I am in favor of taking this issue into two different aspects. In the real sense, the problems people face today are much more complex and challenging than ever before. However, the opinion above is taking this issue from subjective view.
The problems we face today are becoming global and more complex than in the past which involves in many fields such as political, military, economics and environment. Comparing with the problems our predecessors faced before such as where to hunt animal, how to effective hunt them, what weapons to use, the problems we modern people face now involves more complications. Advances in technology determine the complexity of the problems with which people are confront. People presently have to consider the morality of human cloning, control of nuclear weapons, reduce acid rain which our predecessor had never faced or even thought of. In addition, increasing globalization caused a serious of problems can only solved by cooperation of countries. For example, growing scarcity of the world's natural resources, over population, terrorist attack, and greenhouse caused by over carbon dioxide or other environmental disasters. All these problems above is objectively much more difficult and complex than how to hunt a deer or build a house.
However, seeing this issue in a subjective view which means how difficult these problems are to us the difficulty levels are the same to both of the people presently and our predecessors as the time passing by and the growth of experience. We all know that people have different levels of afford ability which tells that people will have different  feelings when facing the same difficulty or, accordingly, people will feel the same way when they are coping with different things. We always say that children are carefree and have no trouble, but we know that people of different ages have their own problems. Adults worry about their work, how to make money and raise a family, teenagers worry about their study, and little children also have their bother like they can't get what they want or other children do not want to play with them. As for an adult, these may be negligible comparing with the problems puzzling them, however, as for a children a Teddy bear or a tin of coca cola are what they care most just like what a house and a car to a adult. Coming back to our topic, as the knowledge and experience accumulated by generations our ability of solving problems is improved, hunting food is no more a question for us, we have the ability to cope more complex problems.
With the rapid developing technology now, people presently have the opportunity and ability to deal with problems much more complex and challenging than before. In the old days, there are no Greenhouse cultivation and Soilless culture for people to solve the problem of food supply, no crane and concrete to build a skyscraper, no airplane, train and ferry for people to travel around. The improved technology causes more complex problems, but it also provide better solutions for them, which makes our society keep developing.
Overall, when we consider difficulties presently and in the past we should not see them in a isolate view. Things have tow sides. Society progressesand and technology improvement are bound to cause problems more difficult and complex, however, increased knowledge and experience also solve the problems people can't solve in the old days. Studying history may inform us many problems today have precedents in history and gain experiences and lessons from the past, and that is why we strongly recommend people study history.
