提纲：1、孩子的社会化确实非常重要。社会有必要帮组孩子们社会化，如果孩子的社会化工作做得不好，会引发一系列问题

2、但教育的目的并不仅仅局限在社会化上，我们也不能把社会化提高到决定社会未来的高度上。我们的当前的教育存在很多问题，不足以满足当前社会的需求。

3、当前来看，我们的教育虽然存在诸多问题，但远远不是悲观者认为的那样，我们没有培养孩子的正确方式。相反，我们正走在不断完善我们的教育的正确道路上。

Socialization is a course that an individual, in social environment, identify with and accept social value system, social norm and behavior pattern, and finally internalize them through education and interpersonal communication. It is true that how children are socialized today is one the most important factors that determine the destiny of society. But we cannot limit our education just in this area. An overall view of our education system tells us that the work we have done is far more than enough not only in many areas. Fortunately, we have been on the right way and keeping perfecting it all the time.


As time goes by, the earth seems to be smaller and smaller. The importance of socialization education is far more outstanding than before and how children are socialized has become one of the crucial elements which determine the destiny of society. The higher children are socialized, the easier some global problems can be solved. When we know that everyone is born equal, no discrimination will exist; when we understand the earth is our unique home, fewer rivers will be polluted; when we realized animals are our friends as well, less slaughter will be conducted. The ignorance of socialization education would surely lead to a series of problems. All around the world, the number of juvenile crime is keep rising, more and more children become addicted to drugs, the news about children who have mental illness and even suicidal tendencies which are only found among adults before is common in newspaper.

However, instead of considering education is just about how to socialize children and simply regarding how children are socialized determined the destiny of our society, we had better endow our education more responsibilities. The ability of creation, the level of science of technology and the virtue of citizens are also important to the destiny of our society and the targets of our education as well. But judging from current situation, our education system is hard to make the public satisfied. Our education system limit students on the dead knowledge on books rather than lead them to he fantasy world of nature and glory history of human. So when students graduate from college or university, they just know how to exist, but don't know how to live in this society. Most of them lack the ability of creation and exploration and hereby fail to make the society a better place to live for human and all other creatures.

Although we can point out problems of our education here and there, it is dubious to say that we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society. One the contrary, we have been on the right way all the time. Heroes and heroines in history and contemporary era are excellent examples to support the success of our education system. What's more, revolutions of education have been conducted all the time and many profound attempts have been made by great educators in history such as Confucius in ancient China and American educator Jerome Seymour Bruner.


It is safe to say that socialization is the foundation to be a successful man for a graduate and that one of the most important targets of our education is to make our students adapt to the society better. For an ordinary citizen, what he needs is not only basic knowledge and skills, but also the ability to communicate with others and the acceptance of some basic ethic and moral principles.

In summary, socialize our children is a crucial job for our education, but it isn't the whole of education. Although, our education system is on the right way to produce talents, to keep the pace of society, we expect our education system to more bring up passable citizen and even extraordinary people. Consequently, we need to solve these problems exist in our education and improve it under the lead of great educators.
