MAIN POINT: 不同意作者观点，虽然人们的观察在大多数的时间和情况下会受到一定的主观因素影响，但也有特例如科学研究领域。
1.需要承认，在日常生活中人们对事物的观察大多会掺杂了个人的主观思想，受观察者的预期和喜好影响，因为我们看世界的出发视角是自己。
2.但在科学研究领域，人们做到了客观的观察。可能出现的偏差是因为技术条件的限制无法取得精准的观察数据或是在得出结论是人们掺杂了个人主观判断而并非是观察的不客观。
3.只要我们提高测量工具的精准度，保证我们对研究客体的信息足够准确可靠就能保证我们的观察客观。
    We say words are but wind, but seeing is believing. However, are things observed by us the truth? Are our observations objectively without our own partial opinions? Some people have the theory that there is no such thing as purely objective observation. All observation is subjective; it is always guided by the observer’s expectations or desires. As for me, however, I don’t fully agree this opinion. I don’t deny that, most of the time, people’s observation involves their personal preference, which makes the observation subjective. But there are exceptions, such as the science field, people’s observation can be objectively.
    Admittedly, everyday experience informs us that different people have different pinions when they observe the same object. Just as the saying goes, there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes. As different people have different experiences and thinking, the angle of approach would be different, led to the objective observation. When people see a behavior they always interpret it according to what it means to them, whereas it may mean something else to the person showing the behaviors. On the other hand, an observer, especially related to social-science term, unavoidably has some preliminary expectation to the result of observation, which makes them overemphasize behavior they expect and fail to notice what they do not expect. That’s why we need a jury to keep our judgment fair.
    However, in the field of science, scientists try their best to make an objective observation, and they do so. From human history begins, people never stop pursuing the truth, exploring the world. From geocentric theory to heliocentric theory, from Newton's classical mechanics to Einstein's theory of relativity, people insist the process of establishment, question, overthrow, and re-establishment in the field of science. Some people may file objection that old theories always turned out to be wrong or incomplete. Doesn’t that mean the scientists before observed subjectively or the objectivity of the modern observation result is questionable? The answer is no. First of all, I must point out that the incorrect conclusions made because of observers’ personal bias are actually caused by subjective interpretation in stead of subjective observation. In another world, scientists put their personal expectation and subjective conjecture in the result that causes the subjective conclusion, but the process of observation is objective. Another reason causes these scientific mistakes is that scientists before didn’t have accurate observation measure tools to support these study. Invention of measuring tools, such as telescope, radar, micrometer, make our observation more accurate and closer to the truth. Without this, the observation is inevitably imprecise and causes the incorrect result. So it is the limitary observation condition restrict the accuracy of information not the subjective observation caused the faulty scientific theory.
    It is vital important for science that the information about the surrounding world and the objects be as accurate and as reliable as possible. For the sake of this, measurements which are the source of this information must be as objective as possible. If only we make accurate measurement tools for observation, can we keep our observation accurate and objective.
    To sum up, most of people have subjective observations, but it doesn’t mean observation can never be objective. As long as we have a serious attitude of searching the scientific truth, with the improvement of technology and the accurate information and measurement, we can observe objectively and find the scientific truth.
