3.3：Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Some people think children should study and play, other people think children should help with household chores.

How to educate kids and help them build up perfect personalities? It is always a good topic for parents. Some people think children should study and play because they are young and don't know how to do housework. Others stand against and consider children should do some household chores. As far as I am concerned, I deem that kids should spend most of their time to study and play and when time is right like they are a little bit mature then they can help with some housework.

First of all, young kids should spend more time on learning new things. As little kids of kindergarten, normally their cognition is limited. But their ability of memorizing certain things is very good and most of them are long term memories. We are familiar that an adult can recite poems fluently what he studied in his childhood. And we are not surprised that most Noble Praise winners later on are well educated when they are young. That is why I think young kids should spend on more time to study.

What's more, after school time the young should play instead of do household chores. After a high concentration on studying kids normally feel tired and have difficulties in concentrating on other things. Now what they need is just a break, going out, chasing around with friends, playing hide and seek, and so on. These all can help children relaxed and replenish for next studying at the same time kids keep healthy by playing around.

Lastly, when the time is right kids should do some housework. When they go to school and their cognition increase, they could help to do some simple housework, like sweep floor, mop up table and wash dishes. By doing this they will become mature and they will understand how much efforts their parents make for their family and they will learn to cherish what other peoples do.

All in all, it needs to be a suitable time for kids doing housework. Besides this, kids' major tasks are studying and playing.
