This article suggests that Luxess face cream is effective in improving the condition of facial skin. In order to support the suggestion, the arguer cites that volunteers who applied Luxess every morning for a month feel the improvement of their skin condition. However, careful examination of this evidence reveals it lend little credible support to the arguer's claim.

A threshold problem of the survey is that the information about the volunteers is not enough. Since the arguer does not present the number of volunteers, nor the sex and age information about the volunteers, the result by the volunteers is unwarranted. Lacking such evidence it is entirely possible that this group of volunteers consists of several little young girls whose enjoy the high level of the facial condition. Consequently, it is the young age and limited number of volunteers that cause the ideal result.

In addition, nor does the mere fact that most volunteers reported a marked improvement of their skin condition land significant support to what the arguer maintains. In the first place, the term "most" is far too vague to allow for any meaningful conclusion, especially when we do not know the base amount of the voluteers. Additionally, the percentage of volunteers who do not report or tell the truth is unknown. In the second place, the result that only depends on the volunteers' feeling is untenable. Perhaps it is the mental effect that make people fell better. Unless the arguer provides any more precise and scientific evidence or let me know the comparison group, if any, the result is lack of credibility.

What is more, the survey is not persuasive in at least two respects. Firstly, the arguer does not show the volunteers' skin condition before the survey. Without such evidence, it is entirely possible that the volunteers' facial skin condition is perfect enough that the Luxess face cream makes few efforts in improving it. Secondly, the time of the study is a month which may be not long enough. Possibly some bad side-effects of Luxess has not presented yet. Thus, these two deficiencies render the survey unconvincing.

Even if the above flaws do not exist, I cannot accept the conclusion that it is Luxess that brings about the improving of facial skin's condition. It is well know that the facial skin condition can be easily affected, ranging from emotion condition of the people to the environment of that time. If the volunteers have mild and healthy diet every day in that month, sleep on time, and live in a moist, clear environment, their facial skins condition can be improved by them instead of Luxess face cream. Without ruling out other possible reasons for the improving of facial skin, the arguer cannot convince me on the basis of the study.

In sum, the article is not logically persuasive as it stands. To bolster it the arguer must provide us more information about volunteers, such as the number and age, as well as their skin condition before participating in the study. To better assess the article I also need to know the accurate effect of the Luxess face cream, like by comparing with the people who did not apply the Luxess. To strengthen it the arguer also must provide more evidence that may influence the result, such as the physical condition of the volunteers and the environment condition.
