      高档西服是当今社会象征权力的衣着。在竞争日益激烈的工作环境中，恰当的着装比任何时期都显得重要。剪裁得体的设计、硬朗的轮廓和80年代怀旧款式，都是男性高档     西服的首选款式。在今天物质的社会里，你的衣着在一定程度上就代表了你的身份和地位。如果你穿着的是普通的T恤，那么你只能代表一般的普通阶层。而如果你穿的是高档     西服，甚至是名家之手定制的高档西服，那你一看就出生不凡。
      现在权力衣着已打破原有贵族的界限，并不一定是公司总裁才可以穿高档西服，只要是你够时尚，够品位一样可以定制西服。剪裁精美的老牌西装是男性魄力的源泉，黑灰   色调、细条子或非常浅的格子都能营造出稳重的形象。
3. 人们的着装习惯往往是他所处的社会变迁的见证。
4. 当然有时，我们不得不承认仅仅外表或者着装“我们的眼睛会欺骗我们”，在判断一个人上。有可能这人是伪善的，highbrow 为了提升自己而刻意做出的光鲜的外表. 或者，一些人实在不太注意外在的着装打扮，譬如，喝的烂醉、衣着邋遢、又满嘴脏话，在夜晚的大街上的人，一个十足的酒鬼，谁又能相信这也会是丘吉尔？对于一些个性洒脱的人来说，他们豪放、不拘小节的个性，仅仅从外表和衣着评判就无从下手，或许，这会是一位大哲，又或是一个普通的流浪汉。
5. 总的来说，内在的气质、修养等会通过人们的外表、衣着和日常的行动上表现出来，也部分的体现了其所处社会的思想和价值观，但是能体现这些的远不止这些。Aristotle once defined sophistry as "having the appearance of knowledge without the reality." 其华丽的外表下可能就是肮脏的实质。

Almost everything in today is based off of appearance. No matter what kind of person you are, a person will always judge you on simple things like what your clothing is like, or what shoes you’re wearing. Every culture has its own taste of appearance. Thus, no wonder that we can tell much about a society's ideas and values by the way its people behaves, dresses and the way they look.

Yet, although people loudly proclaim that "appearances are deceptive," they still tend to accept appearance as their first impression on man. Time and again, we are told to "keep up appearances", and cynics even claim that appearances are the essence of politics.

The importance placed on appearance has also marked each member of our society with a status tag, allowing us to judge the value of a particular person or even remark on the moral integrity of that person. Perhaps it is just a natural reaction humans have in the struggle of self-preservation that makes us delineate ourselves from the rest. Inner cultivation make a person attention deliberately in dressing, and their behavior. Now consider the grade suits, which is, in contempory society, a simple of elegant, status, and power. In today's compelling competitive background, seemly dressing has been placed much more significance than any other times. Designed properly croped up，harder--edged look and the nostalgic style in the 1980s, is the first male high-grade suit design. Your dressing, as well as your act or the way your think, representatives your status in nowadays community. Then, consider a common T-shirt, that may says you are in the middle class; compared with grade suits, or even croped out by famous tailors, that specifies your high birth.

What's more, the appearance of one person could also tell us what exactly the society he exists interests. Even better, some significant examples. Women's, in Arabic, remain faceless, shows their high priority in its society; elegant dressing and leisurely and comfortable lifestyle of France, well-known around the world, represents their romantic. What's more, the way people look and dress, could be the best spokesman to their society's change during years. 比如：几十年前在中国穿牛仔裤的人甚至被认为是坏人，说明那时候的人想法很偏激传统，但现在这种想法已经消失了，任何人都可以穿，甚至被认为是时尚。（更想拿美国的与时代变迁相关的服饰的例子).

Admittedly, our eyes, sometimes, deceives us by simply differentiate people from their appearance and act. A deceptive man have the ability to dress up to the nines , just for his highbrow need; or, there are humans not taking much notice of their dressing and looks. Imaging a man, drunken midnight, sluttery dressed, and more detestable, swear like a trooper: a vivid drunkard, who will recognizes him as Churchill? Time and again we are fooled by the way someone looks; we give are attention to those who are beautiful, but who have nothing else to give; we placate the ravenous ambitions of those who are dressed in the banner of authority by readily handing over our rights; and we give our complete trust to those dressed to help us, but who only see us as units of profit.

In sum, inner disposition，or, a person well--cultivitioned, a relection of its way people look, dress, and daily act, also reveals thoughts and ideas of which society they are in, but partly. The importance our society places on appearance places a giant wall between us and those who do not fit into our comfort zone, between those who are simply different from us. Breaking down the barrier that appearance has created within in us all is the first step to curing the decades of hate, superficial judgment, and wanton excess of products and services we buy just to fit in.

Lastly, Aristotle once defined sophistry as "having the appearance of knowledge without the reality." How many of us are living in the world of appearance, rather than that of reality? Perhaps we would rather not know.
