In this argument,the arguer predicts that the sale of Whirlwind video games are likely to increase dramatically in the next few months.The arguer claims Whirlwind's new product and its target reflects the demand of the market according to the conclusion of the survey.However,several fallacies involved make the result unimpressive.

In the first place,the arguer attribute
the decline only to the some features of games failing to think over other possible factors.As we all know,the sale condition is affected by the whole running condition of the conpany.If the decline is caused by the management of the company,just produce such a new product make no sense.The manager of Whrilwind should find the solution inside.Even if the decrease is caused only due to the sale,making proper products may necessarily increase the sale.For instance,nowadays the financial crisis may depress the desire
of buying new games.If the opponents have already introduce similar products,it is difficult for Whirlwind to make great achivement.


Obviously,the only question that mentions in the survey is not comprehensive,therefore several other questions related are ignored.For example,ask the potential consumers" what kind of games you want",in some degree,reflect the demand of the players.For there are so many kinds of game and the fashion are always changing,capture the right pattern is a key."Do you want a single game or want to play
online",in my opinion,is another question should be put in the survey.To play with
friends is the main force of many people while to play single game a good method relaxing.The survey should take it into
account.


The author obviously overlook ingredients influencing the quality of the video game.If the new game only present some magnificence scenes but poor plots are involved,I guess the consumers will not purchase it.Furthermore,whether the game can be easily handled is also important.The designer should consider if the player can accepted instead of blindly pursuing high-tech.Price is a permanent
matter,especially facing the financial
crisis.After considering the cost,if the price can be accept by the consumer is a problem.


The arguer provide no evidence of people between 10 and 25 years old are also interested in such a game.It can not be conducted from a research directed to the whole.If the people who like it are who are not willing to play it,they give the answer just because they regard the game as anther kind of cartoon.Thus,the inquier must aim at the target population.For 10 to 25 age-group who most likely to play games,
another special research should be undertaked.


It's hard to make sure how many of the players have the "most up-to-date" computers.If the new style of computers are not universial possessed,it will be hard to sell such kind of game.

To sum up,the author does not provide enough evidence to support the sales of
Whrilwind will reverse.To make the argument more convincing,all the factors that may cause the decline and influence the quality of games should be take into account.In addition ,the author need to make a survey to reflect the demand of player in diffrent age stages truthfully.To make the conclusion logically accepted,we have to more know more about the condition of whether the consumers have the access to Whrilwind new products.

能否举个例子来说明管理不善会导致销量下降?因为单纯这样讲,感觉很空洞。)Even if the decrease is caused only due to the sale, making proper products may necessarily increase the sale. For instance, nowadays the financial crisis may depress the desire of buying new games. 看来作者对于游戏的市场还是蛮有自己的看法,但是没有例子可以证明,追求高新技术, 玩家会不因为不好操作而放弃。从现在的市场上看来,技术越新,并不代表越难操作。)
