部分反对 首先承认正规教育的确能够帮助文明维系他的倾向但是并非是主要的渠道 教育还有他更为重要的作用 更为重要的是培养青年一带的ANALYTICAL 和CRITICALTHINKING, 把学生INDOCTRONIZED 的结果是舒服了思想的多样性,滞留了思想的发展性.而且在当今社会, 开放式的教育使的单纯的DISCREDIT 变得更为不可能. 这也是由于文明的特性决定的 文明倾向的保留需要的是多方面共同作用这其中 社会道德标准
法律 媒介的作用都比较突出


1 什么是正规的教育 以及他与文明的关系

正规的教育是能够帮助文明维系它的倾向 是通过怎样的方式？本身就是一个文化圈子 这其中学校的设置课程老师与学生的交流 校规校纪 都能够为一种文明传播它的倾向

2 承认正规教育的作用 但是不认同作者所说的-它起到了主要的作用 因为文化具有多样性 而正规教育能够传播到的只是社会上一部分人而其他环境下的人 则不能被这样的文化倾向影响 实际上人类的文化还通过很多的渠道来维系他的倾向

这其中有

大众传媒
报纸、电视、广播无时无刻不通过自己的渠道向他的受众人群传递自己的文化倾向

法律
一个社会的律法恐怕是维系文化倾向性最强制性的手段比如一些反科学 反社会 反人类的组织传播他们的文化则会受到他所在国家法律的制裁 然而这样的制裁 也因为每个国家的文化差异而有所不同

日常道德规范这是最司空见惯的一种方式 当然也最能潜移默化的塑造每个人的文化倾向 他的意义也是很重要


3 综合以上 文化的多样性和社会的复杂性其实就决定了 文化传播其倾向的渠道绝不仅仅只是 通过正规教育

For many people, formal education is a way  to develop their mind, behaviors and other skills. During the time of formaleducation, people will learn diversity cultures, used to some kind of cultures,even have the right to query some culture phenomenon. As for the culture,formal education is a broad way to express its preference, which means toperpetuate the ideas it favors and discredit the ideas it fears. But after adeep consideration, is that a primary method to delivery culture's preference? I’mafraid i can't totally agree with the above statement.

At the first, I should stress that the  formal education definitely plays an important role in selecting what culturefavors and fears. Formal education, unlike the informal education which happensoutside the classroom, teaches people in a structured education system whichalready has its special culture preference. Harvard University, as the firstuniversity in United States, presents a spirit of creation from the beginningof its establishment. The university sustain this ideas it favors through its admission standards，campus activities and other formations. As Harvard does, many colleges-amain carrier of formal education-also express their some signals whetherculture favors or not.

When we take this issue into a deep  consideration, we will find that culture is too diverse to sustain anddiscredit ideas in a single way. Actually, there must be some other ways toexpress culture's preference，such as massmedia，laws and ethical standard.


Mass media, which plays one of the mostsignificant roles in shaping and sustaining culture, have become an importantway to select the ideas culture supports and repel ideas it dreads. Television,the most striking media, often offers some TV programs that fit the culture ofthe local people. Just in this way, their audience rating can hold and rise.Newspaper and magazines, which are the important way to deliver the local language, always print some articles that you can observe some culturepreference in it. Such situation also exists in broadcasting.

Laws, which serve as a primary mediatorbetween people, definitely shape the culture through many enforceable laws. Inmy opinion, this way is the most powerful way to perpetuate the ideas a culturefavors and discredit the ideas it fears. Evil cults，like the "Dravidians” of the United States，hold some anti-human ideas which definitely harm the society and isdiscredited by the culture in united states. At the end, the United States governmenthas to send army to deal with this cult which has done lots of things to obeythe laws.


Ethical standard, which always influence people in unconscious situation, also plays a significant role to help cultureshape its preference. In modern society, international culture is developingwith the fast pace and without some limitation. This leads to some crimes inthe internet. So the society should shape some ethical standards to restrictthe culture in internet.

All in all, formal education is not aprimary way to shape culture's preference. As the culture is so diverse, itshould have many ways to perpetuate it favors and discredit it dreads.
