TOPIC: ISSUE123 - "It is possible to identify a person's politics within a very short time of meeting him or her. Everything about people-their clothes, their friends, the way they talk, what they eat-reflects their political beliefs."

How can we know one's politics thoroughly? It is a hard question to answer. The details of one person may somehow reflect the inside thought of him, but I still can not agree with the speaker that we can identy people's political beliefs through their appearings and the way they behave and so forth, especially in a short time. There are still more factors to be take into accout, like their writings.

People from the same the race may tend to the similar food, but different indivisuals have different political idea. For instance, most of the Americans wear the similar clothes; however, there are various kinds of insititutions who hold their own idea. We can neither tell a institution from the other through the appearings, nor can we tell different people's different idea, since the belief is inside.

Moreover, in many cases, people even can not behave as they want. Under the eyes of the public, the stars should keep himself or herself elegant or graceful respectively, for the sake of being popular and charming, even though they behave rudely and probably disobey the laws. The leaders is also the same case, which means they must appear to be honest and moral to make the citizens believe they haven't made the wrong choice to vote for the certain leader, no matter the leaders are so immoral in secret. For these cases, the behaviors even cannot reflect the real character of a person, let alone the belives.

Addtionally, there are lots of people who tend to hide their political beliefs for different reasons, such as protecting oneself or confusing the enemies. For example, the spayors should hide their their real belief, in case that they would be caught and killed, leaving their task uncompleted, or even the national secret is given away. The more they hide the real ideas, the better. In such cases, it is more difficult to tell one's political idea.
Unfortuantely, people's view upon politic may also change due to complete sources over time, which make it even more hard to identify one's real politics in a short time. When study the history, one can surely find that there are a large quatity of people who were not steadfasting and always turn to different insitution in different time to gain the most benefits, such as the Dafuo Li in the 19th centrury in China.

In sum, since people's points of politics are changing and the appearings may turn out to be misleading, it is impossible to identify a person's politics through a short period of time. We should consider about more things, such as if they pretend to do so, if they have any other secret objects, or if they are honest enough to be trusted and so forth.
