The reading passage supports that fuel-cell engines have a superior advantage over internal-combustion engines and will definitely replace the latter. However, the lecture counters this statement by giving three opposite opinions.

To start with, the author argues that internal-combustion engine depends on petroleum, which is a kind of resource that one day will be run out. The lecture does not directly refute this argument. Instead, she points out that hydrogen which is source of fuel-cell engine is not easily available because it only could be used in a pure liquid formation, which requires highly artificial technology. Furthermore, it also needs cooling technology to produce and store the liquid hydrogen.

In addition, according to the text, internal-combustion engine would cause serious pollution owing to that carbon dioxide will come out when burning oil. Not surprisingly, the professor claims that the production of hydrogen will also adversely affect the environment because unavoidable pollution will be produced by burning coal and oil. Though, the only by-product is water when using the fuel-cell engines.

Finally, fuel-cell engines can save more money than the other for they have a higher efficiency, as mentioned in the essay. However, the lecture maintains that a component material, which contains a rare expensive mental, is needed to undergo a chemical reaction to power the fuel-cell engines. Meanwhile, expected cheaper materials are not found so far.

The author raises the issue that the decline of the number of sea otters is mainly caused by pollution. However, the lecture holds the opposite idea that shows predators' attacks results in the great decline in sea otter population.

To start with, according to the passage, research about water sample indicates that industrial chemical pollutions are possible to cause the sea otters' death. On the contrary, the professor claims that no one having found the dead sea otters in polluted areas or nearby the polluted waters. Whereas, some sea otter which washed up on the shore and were killed by predators have been found.

In addition, the author mentions that both the number of sea otters and that of other sea mammals have decreased dramatically. Meanwhile, merely widely occurring predators, such as the orca, could cause the similar effect, whereas such whale only feed on lager preys, such as whales. Not surprisingly, the professor refutes the statement by suggesting that whales may disappear from the area because of human hunter. Therefore orcas have to change their diet for survival and began to eat smaller sea mammals.

Finally, the essay points out that sea otter total population in certain areas decreased so rapidly, while in other location have not changed. Then the lecturer tells us that owing to some shallow or rocky location where orcas are not easy to access due to the huge body, the otter number has not declined. Besides, the sea otter will be eaten by predators in wide areas.

The author raises the issue that the decline of the number of sea otters is mainly caused by pollution. However, the lecture holds the opposite idea好赞个学习了 that shows predators' attacks额。。这个观点不对吧2个都不是 results in the great decline in sea otter population.

To start with, according to the passage, research about water sample indicates that industrial chemical pollutions are possible to cause the sea otters' death. On the contrary, the professor claims that no one having found就用have found好了 the dead sea otters in polluted areas or nearby the polluted waters.

Therefore orcas have to change their diet for survival and began to eat smaller sea mammals.

ally, the essay points out that sea otter total population in certain areas decreased so rapidly, while in other location have not changed.

However, the lecture holds the opposite idea that(我觉得换成and好一点)
shows predators' attacks results in the great decline in sea otter population.

(小心这里理解不准确,这是听力原文:First, the pollution theory is weakened by the fact that no one can really find any died sea otters washing up on Alaska beaches. That’s not what you’d expect if infections caused by pollution start killing a lot of otters. On the other hand, the fact it is so hard to find died otters is consistent to the predator hypothesis.

In addition, the author mentions that both the number of sea otters and that of other sea mammals have decreased dramatically. Meanwhile, merely widely occurring predators, such as the orca, could cause the similar effect, whereas such whalebecause orca only feed on lager preys, such as whales. Not surprisingly, the professor refutes the statement by suggesting that whales may disappear from the area because of human hunter. Therefore orcas have to change their diet for survival and began to eat smaller sea mammals.

Finally, the essay points out that sea otter total population in certain areas decreased so rapidly, while in other location have not changed.(这一句可以用文中的一个短语uneven pattern表述,另外没有叙述文章的重心:造成这一现象的原因。) Then the lecturer tells us that owing to some shallow or rocky location where orcas are not easy to access due to the huge body, the otter number has not declined. Besides, the sea otter will be eaten by predators in wide areas.

The reading passage supports that fuel-cell engines have a superior advantage over internal-combustion engines and will definitely replace the latter. However, the lecture counters this statement by giving three opposite opinions.(简洁,点题,好开头!)

To start with, the author argues that internal-combustion engine depends on petroleum, which is a kind of resource that one day will be run out(这个不是文章的重心吧,没有总结出染料电池的优点哦). The lecture does not directly refute this argument. Instead, she points out that hydrogen which is source of fuel-cell engine is not easily available because it only could be used in a pure liquid formationstate, which requires highly artificial technology. Furthermore, it also needs cooling technology to produce and(冷却技术只是用来储存的) store the liquid hydrogen.

Though, the only by-product is water when using the fuel-cell engines.(这一段表述很准确,语言也很棒!)

Finally, fuel-cell engines can save more money than the other for they have a higher efficiency, as mentioned in the essay. However, the lecture maintains that a component material, which contains a rare expensive mental, is needed to undergo a chemical reaction to power the fuel-cell engines. Meanwhile, expected cheaper materials which can replace that mental are not found so far.

The reading passage raises a newly rising trend that nowadays less people are likely to read literature. And the author disapproves with the trend. However, the lecturer holds the opposite opinions by giving 3 specific evidences.

To start with, the author argues that only literature could bring us so many benefits, such as intellectual stimulation and intensify imagination. On the contrary, the lecturer refutes that not only literature, but also other reading forms, such as modern novel, could stimulate our intelligence.

In addition, according to the text, what people read toady are usually superficial, which are poorly written. Furthermore, an increasing number of people prefer to watch television, surf Internet and listen video. The professor does not refute this statement directly. Instead, he points outs that it is a plenty of reading materials that make our culture and life abundant. Meanwhile, this phenomenon shows us a large amount of culture versions are coming out.

Finally, there are fewer good literatures than before due to lack of audience, as the essay maintains. Then the lecture claims that owing to that modern literatures, unlike the ones in the past, are hard to understand. Therefore, it is the fault of offer, rather than reader, which leads to the unwelcome of literature.

Music and movies, for example. that make our culture and life abundant. Meanwhile, this phenomenon shows us a large amount of culture versions are coming out.

Finally, there are fewer good literatures than before due to lack of audience, as the essay maintains. Then the lecture claims that owing to that modern literatures, unlike the ones in the past, are hard to understand. Sometimes it’s the authors’ faults. Let’s be honest. A lot of modern literature is intend to be difficult to understand.
