TOPIC: ARGUMENT125 - The following is a recommendation from the president of Appleby College.
"Whereas Appleby College holds class reunions every five years, Edelston College holds annual reunions for all classes, during which Edelston's alumni are treated to banquets, lectures, and student performances, enhancing their loyalty to the college and their willingness to donate money. Edelston College receives most of its alumni donations during or shortly after these reunions. Therefore, the best way for Appleby to increase its alumni donations is to offer similar reunion activities and to have each graduating class hold annual reunions."

The reasons which the author conclude to explaim the larger number donation at E is mostly contains: holding as more as annual reunions to donate, the loyalty and the timing. Is the reality are the same to those conclusions? Let me explaim as follows:
Firstly, the speaker conclude the reason why the alumni in E are willing to donate their money to the college is the reunions which for all classes holding annual years. Compare to the ever five years at A, the E take the party every year for all classes. Of course, from the facial aspect, the more reunions the college hold, the more donation the college will recieve. However, donations are hinge on so much factors, such as the level of the graduate who can earn the enough money, the generous level of the alumni, the spesific spending plan the college make, etc. especially the first one. We can imagine that there is not so much money the college can donate if the alumni are not affort their own life, namely the alumni must rich enough to have left money to do these things.
Secondly, the reason why graduates want to donate is their loyalty which was enhanced during their reunions after their graduation. When we graduate from the college or university, the loyalty has already informed. It is has to do with the history of that school, the prouds we earn in that place, the traditon which differ the college from other place, and so on, We can not hope for the donation from the alumni who hates the college, no matter how many reunions the college hold.
Thirdly, the time at which the E alumni donate their money is during or shortly after these reunions. From the convienient of donation, donating during the reunios of course the most convient time. Shortly after the reunions is also the good timing because the momery is so fresh that most people are remain memorize the promise. The people in college are so much distinguished from the social people who might be too busy to donate.
